The scene where Izuku spaces out and stares at his fish when Inko asks if he's ok, happens when Rin and Hawks were out for dinner.

(day of results)

Me and Izu were in the living room watching TV while he did some weights and a hand gripper.

Suddenly we heard the door of the living room open and mom crawled in and kept scurrying in place, holding two letters in her hand. We startled when we saw her, wondering why she was so anxious, "Letters, Izuku, Rin they came! Both of you! The letters, They came! Look! You got a letter. They're here, your test results from U.A!"

Both of us looked at each other. Izu had an unreadable expression on his face. We hurried towards mom, Izu jumped over the back of the couch and I spun from the side and snatched the envelopes from her hands. "Thanks mom" I said. When we realized we took the opposite letters, we switched them quickly, and fumbled to our bedroom doors to get our results separately and then tell each other after.

I sat down in front of my study table, lights on. I cleanly pried the seal off of the envelope with a ruler, wanting to preserve it, and took out a disc-like device.

I looked at it, wondering what it was when suddenly a screen popped up from the device. I let out a yelp, the device slipped from my hands and fell onto the table with a clatter. I leaned in when I realized that it was projecting a hologram screen. Leave it to U.A to do this through top-notch tech.

I'll admit this is pretty cool. "Whoa.."

"HELLO, RIN MIDORIYA! IT'S ME PROJECTING ON THE HOLOGRAM SCREEN!"

"All Might?" What is All Might doing in a U.A projection? Maybe they wanted him to announce the results for extra flair?

"IT HAS BEEN A WHILE BUT WITH GREAT POWER COMES GREAT PAPERWORK!"

I laughed lightly, nervous, but also humored that even All Might has to tend to lousy paperwork. "Hi, Is it some special guest appearance?" It was mostly me talking to myself cuz it most definitely can't be an actual video conference right? He can't speak to so many students who're watching at the same time.

"YOU MUST BE WONDERING WHY I'M HERE. THERE IS ANOTHER REASON THAT I CAME BACK TO JAPAN." He paused for dramatic effect, what could he be talking about? He couldn't have come just to announce results of course now that I think about it, so why?... Wait, he's doing this for U.A...

"YOU ARE LOOKING AT THE NEWEST FACULTY MEMBER OF THE U.A HERO ACADEMY!"

"Wait, l-lemme w-just-..waaahhttt??!!!" My jaw dropped to the floor. All Might is gonna be teaching at U.A??!!!

"I'm sure you're worried about Izuku's results more than yourself, so here they are!" All Might said as if reading my mind, "Don't worry he passed quite well."

That was so anticlimactic! He didn't even show anything!

Although I sighed in relief with my hand clutched against my chest.

"AND YOU WOULD BE JOINING HIM!!" he shouted. I squealed once with my hands to my mouth. Both of us made it into U.A! We did it!! I just hope we'll make it to the same class too!

A scoreboard popped up on screen, "Fortunately there were more factors to the practical part of the exam. Heroic acts by the students were also considered. A panel of judges watches and they award points to heroic acts performed by the students and beyond just fighting villains. How could a hero course reject someone who was committed to saving others no matter the consequences to themselves. After all that is what makes a hero. And so Izuku got the highest rescue points! In that matter you young lady, you have also gained a buckload of points! PLACING 1ST IN THE U.A HIGH ENTRANCE EXAMS RIN MIDORIYA! 63 VILLAIN POINTS AND 50 RESCUE POINTS! ITSUKA KENDO, 40 RESCUE POINTS! YOU BOTH HAVE PASSED THE EXAM. CONGRATULATIONS YOUNG RIN! I'M VERY PROUD OF YOUR PERFORMANCE." He gave a genuine toothy smile, "WELCOME! TO THE U.A HIGH-TOP HERO COURSE, THE HERO ACADEMIA!!"
