"I see. Did you come to take back thi-" the villain was saying.

My eyebrows furrowed. I shot forward at blinding speed and picked up the professor, and the suitcase flew after me carried by my flames, pushing past the villain and appearing beside Izu. But the suitcase couldn't go further because of the metal rod holding it back. "His quirk?"

"Rin!" Izu said surprised and a little relieved we at least got the professor back.

The professor had a shocked expression at suddenly being saved by an unknown girl. More metal shot at us, me and Izu split to the sides, dodging it. So, metal kinesis. A lot more metal pillars came at me fast, "You think you can save him?!" metal guy shouted with full confidence in his tone. "do you want to save the man who has committed wrongdoing?!"

(a/n. Imma call them pillars cuz calling them rods makes it sound too thin for sm reason 😂)

"Leave me and go, you won't get anything by saving me!" David Shield shouted.

"I don't know what's going on here professor, or why they're calling you a criminal, but don't say that! Melissa is waiting for you to come back safe right now!!" I shouted.

"Why would you want to save a criminal?!" the villain said with a smirk.

"I think villains take first priority, don't you?" I said with a smirk of my own and moved up to dodge another pillar while carrying professor shield from behind and under his arms.

Maybe I should've agreed to Yaomomo making me a pair of fireproof clothing, it would have made things easier for me without having to worry about burning my clothes. But she had to conserve her quirk for something better.

I've practiced a lot more without fireproof clothing for unexpected situations like this.

My legs were covered in fire till my knees and I moved the entirety of my legs accordingly to change my trajectory properly, cuz if I had put force unevenly then I would have flipped and fell due to our higher centre of mass. My dress looked like an aesthetically burned figure skating costume right now.

Izu climbed over the pillars, running towards the villain. I can't help him while protecting prof. Shield. Instead I sent a sphere of flames to the wings of the helicopter to destroy it.

"You annoying little bitch!!" the villain shouted after seeing the damage, "I'll let you taste death for that!" he shouted, the confidence in his tone didn't waver even then he was angry.

"Shut up!!!" Izu shouted going nearer to the villain. "That's what heroes do!! They save people who are in trouble!!"

"How?" he pointed a gun in my direction, me and the professor.

Izu froze.

"I'm telling you to leave me! You will only be in trouble if you try to save me!" -prof. Shield shouted

"Professor David Shield, I will not abandon knowing the life of someone's father is in danger, not when she's surely waiting for him and even more so if she's a friend." I may not be an angel like my brother, but I sure as damn will save those in my reach. "I don't know what you did but you can receive proper punishment for your crimes after your life is saved." I said sternly, "so don't make things difficult for me. Izu, don't worry about me!! I'll be fine!!"

"How brave" the villain said and shot the gun.

I breathed out flames of 1600 degrees, which was a much higher than my previous maximum because of my desperation and instantly formed a shell in front of us. I dropped down to dodge as much as I could during it.
