I heard Izu shouting my name in the background. Through a slight opening of my eyes, I saw Katsuki and him running at a distracted All Might.

"Let's take her and go away! Kacchan there's no way we can win by facing him head on!" Izu shouted while the two were running at us and were in the air, lifting their arms, one to send explosions and the other to smash.

"Shut up!! I'll win!! That's what it means to be a hero!!" Katsuki yelled back.

I remembered something from when we were kids, "No matter how much trouble he's in, he always wins in the end!" he had said. It's a memory that could make me smile in any normal situation, it was a time when we all were friends, with no hate, pride, jealousy or ego driving a rift between us.

All Might dropped me and disappeared, appearing a further distance away. Katsuki and Izu's eyes widened when they realized that their hits were now directed at me.

Right before they could blast or punch me I slid underneath them through the pain and went up floating in the air with my flames. That speed was something I can dodge like a breeze.

My body was hurting in several areas and my head was pounding but I could still control my flames and move on my own with them.

"That was a low blow as well All Might." I said turning around in the air.

But he wasn't there behind me.

Huh? I was looking around for him when I heard, "For now, here's a present for one of the two who want to run away!" he flew down from the sky with a fence under his legs.

I couldn't move Izu, if I did it wrong then he will be stabbed by the fence. I could only shout his name as he was locked under the fence.

Right after that, All Might punched Katsuki in the gut, making him fly back in the air and spill out the contents of his stomach. I immediately softened his landing by making him go through many layers of my flames. I had previously clung other flames to his costume for convenience but this arrogant idiot had blown them away at some point on purpose.

"Kacchan!!" Izu shouted behind me.

I sent flames to help Izu get that fence off of him, though it was really difficult to do. While I was doing that Katsuki was getting up with difficulty, "you're a jerk,.. but, yeah, no matter what, you always"

I tried harder to lift the fence along with my physical strength and Izu tried to push it off too. Katsuki continued to talk to All Might, "...make sure you are the winner. I admired you for that!" Both of us together managed to get the fence off the ground and Izu tried to get up.

"I know why you're so angry. It's because of young Midoriya's sudden improvement right? But you know, there's no way level 1 power and level 50 power can improve at the same rate. There's so much wasted potential in you. Do you understand? You do right?" All Might walked over to stand beside Katsuki and then spread his arms, "you still have so much room to grow! But I'm not talking about power-" he was interrupted by Katsuki.

He's still being a teacher when he's a villain, but it was to our advantage that we get some time to recover ourselves while he blabbered.

"Shut up All Might. If I have to get help from those scum, then I'd rather lose.. so.. once again just fucking stop trying help me Firespit"

My eyes widened as my mind almost went blank at what he said. I exhaled.

"I see, don't regret this" All Might raised his hand.

So if it comes to protecting a person from a villain by taking our help, or sticking to his pride and giving up the civilian's life, he'd rather take the second option?
