It had been 2 years since that day. In an attempt to stabilize the population inside the walls everyone who could join the military joined, they all died Armin's grandfather being one of them and with that Cori and Armin lost the last parental figure they had.

All four of them had decided to join the military. Eren wanted to kill all the titans though Cori thought that was impossible. 100 years humanity had tried to no avail, what made him think he could do it?

Once they had arrived they were greeted by a long speech from Commandant Sanders.

"What are you eating?" Sanders asked a brown haired girl. "A potato sir?" The girl said. "Name?" Sanders asked. "Sasha Braus at your service," she said saluting. "Why are you eating a potato?" Commandant asked. "Are you asking me why people eat potatoes in general sir?" Sasha replied and the conversation went downhill from there. Sasha ended up having to run until sunset.

Cori took note of the people alongside her who weren't questioned by Sanders. She figured that just like her they were there that day. Once they were dismissed Cori and Mikasa made there way into the girls bunks. Just as Cori was about to go inside she was stopped by a blonde haired girl. Cori recognized her as one of the people that weren't questioned.

"Can I help you?" Cori asked. "I just couldn't help but notice you weren't questioned," the girl said. Cori stared at her. "Cool," Cori said turning to leave. "Wait!" The girl said. Cori turned around. "My name is Annie," the girl said. "Cool. My name is Cori," Cori said. Annie nodded. "So were you there? Shinganshia?" She asked. Cori immediately thought of Eren's mom being eaten. Cori nodded. Annie was going to ask her something when she was cut of by a male voice.

"CORI!" the voice cried. Everyone in the immediate area turned to look at the source of the voice. "Marco? Marco!" Cori exclaimed. Marco made his way to Cori and immediately hugged her. "I thought you were dead!" he cried. Cori sighed. "It'll take more than a couple of titans to kill me," she responded. At the mention of titans people started crowding to ask her questions. Cori wasn't very social and so the presence of so many people annoyed her. They kept pestering her. "FUCK OFF!" she yelled. Everyone immediately stopped talking. Cori turned to leave. "That's not very nice," a nearly bald boy said. Cori flipped him off and was immediately pulled into the bunks by Mikasa.

Cori was standing in the lunchroom in front of a mirror. Her long curly hair would interfere with the odm gear they were to begin learning to use. Cori wasn't a big fan of putting her hair up but nonetheless she did. She parted it on the left and put it into a low pony, she then put it up in a bun. It wasn't the cleanest bun but it was sturdy and would stay in place. Cori had two locks of hair on either side of her parting. She cut them so that they were the same length. The two strands were in her face but she didn't mind.

Mikasa came up behind her. "Where's Eren?" she asked. Cori shrugged. "I think he's outside," she said. Mikasa turned to leave but was stopped. A boy, name Jean was there. Cori didn't particularly like Jean, they barely knew each other and yet butted heads. She disliked the fact that he was aspiring to be in the military police. It told her a lot about who he was. Marco seemed to think differently. The two had already hit it off and that was the only reason Cori tolerated Jean.

"What?" Mikasa asked. "I like your hair," he said. Cori had to stiffle a laugh. Jean was blushing. "Thanks," Mikasa said and left. Jean was still blushing but he shook his head and chased after Mikasa. Cori, not wanting to miss what was to happen next followed. Connie, the nearly bald boy, was trying to get something of his shirt and Jean was staring at Mikasa and Eren.

"Connie what are you doing?" Cori asked. "Jean wiped something on me!" Connie exclaimed still struggling. "Connie, Connie, Connie!" Cori said trying to get the boy to stop. "What did you wipe on my back?!" Connie asked. "My faith for humanity," Jean said. Connie stopped and Cori gave Jean a look. "Your fucking kidding me," Cori said walking inside.

Cori went inside the girls bunks. There a blonde hair girl was sitting on a bed with a brown haired girl. Cori sat herself on her bed when Sasha walked in. "Hey Sasha!" The blonde said. "Did you like the potato?" "Yes!" Sasha said. "Your an angel..." "Christa," the blonde said. "Christa!" Sasha exclaimed.

Sasha leaned on Cori. "She's an angel," she said. "Yeah, yeah off," Cori said shoving Sasha to the ground. Christa looked shocked but the brown haired girl she was sitting with, was smirking.
"What's your name?" she asked. "What? You didn't hear when my brother yelled it across the building?" Cori said sarcastically. "No I'm afraid I missed that," the girl replied. "Cori," Cori said. "Ymir," the girl said.

Mikasa walked in and climbed onto the bunk on top of Cori's. Annie then walked in and looked at Cori before sitting on her bed. "I'm bored," Sasha said. "Go run until sunrise that should keep you entertained," Cori retorted. Ymir stifled a laugh and Sasha looked mildly offended.

"How about we get to know each other," Christa suggested. Everyone looked at each other but couldn't find a reason not to. "Okay then I'll start," Christa said.

The rest of the night the girls told them about each other, their family where they were from and they managed to form a pretty close bond. They ended the night with Sasha vowing to make Cori, Mikasa and Annie smile. And Cori couldn't help but find the quiet blonde cute.
