It's been roughly a week staying here, and I have mixed emotions about it. I mean as of right now, I don't have to worry about bills, how I'm going to pay for food, and all the other independent necessities. But on the other hand I have Aurelio, my whatever, and that's enough on its own.

Last night was the second time since I've been here, that he has left his own room in the middle of the night to have sex with Lola. I even went downstairs, to torture myself with hearing the sounds they made. It made me envious but also sick to my stomach. I thought about giving him the cold shoulder this morning but I didn't know how far that would get me.

Ultimately I decided against it, and decided to let it go. Not going to let it bother me.

So here I am, sitting outside, enjoying the sun. I wanted to get in the pool but I don't have any swimsuits. Plus I don't even know how to swim.

"Afternoon." I sat up quickly, startled from the outburst.

"Um.. afternoon." I don't know why I was blushing but thankfully my complexion hid that. Honestly, he was one of the last people I expected to see out here, well while I'm out here at least.

"You swim?"

"Um, definitely not." I smiled nervously while shaking my head. He took off his shirt, before running and jumping in the pool. I couldn't help but gaze at his beautiful vanilla complexion. He is one of the most beautiful men I have ever seen, aside from Aurelio, his brother included, although he barely speaks two words to me.

"What?" He asked while smiling.

"N-nothing.. it's just.. nevermind." I stammered.

"Now I have to know." George grinned, resting on the wall of the pool, staring into my eyes.

"It's just that... you're talking to me, that's all."

"And that's a surprise?" He had an amusing grin on his face.

"Well your brother isn't very talkative." He chuckles at my answer.

"Oh no, he talks. Too much at times. But he's more professional than I am. I'm known to be reckless."

"I find that a little hard to believe." He smirks before laying back, floating in the water. It was nice, not thinking about Aurelio, and just enjoying another person's company. Maria is a lot of fun too and she made sure to catch me up on all the gossip that surrounds the Martinez empire.. although I couldn't help but feel like she was holding back.

"Why aren't you swimming again?" He asked, breaking me from my thoughts.

"I never learned." I answered honestly.

"Really, they didn't teach you in school or something?"

"I was too focused on my books to be in extracurricular activities." That and no way to pay for the fees that came along with it.

"What's your dream college? I bet Stanford."

"Isn't everyone's?" I playfully fired back.

"I guess you're right. I wanted to go there, pursuing my swimming scholarship but my future had other plans." He shrugged. Although he was swimming back and forth, from one side of the pool to the other, I could hear him clearly.

"I received a half scholarship, but I didn't have enough money to pay the other half, or even pay for the dorms, so I would have a place to stay."

"Well.. you're living here, and I don't mean to be in your business, but I know you have a monthly allowance. I doubt he would let you stay on campus, but you could take online classes.. just a thought." He suggests, before continuing his strokes.
