46. Too Far Gone.

Shizukana's P.O.V.

I scrunched my face when I felt drops of water hit me.  I slowly opened my eyes, only for them to be met with blinding white clouds.  The water just fell from nowhere.  In complete confusion, I sat up and looked around.  I was near a river that was surrounded by a valley.  What caught my attention was the blue and orange in the distance.

I widened my eyes and quickly stood up, only to be hit with pain and memories.  Yelling... Syringe...... Sasuke... Sasuke had drugged me. Why?

I steadied myself and ran towards the colors.  Naruto was laid out on the ground with bruises and wounds, while Sasuke stared down at him. Sasuke was covered in black tattoos and that similar purple aura was covering him.

"Sasuke?" I whispered.  I didn't know what to think.  Did Sasuke hurt Naruto?  Why?

Sasuke turned to face me, and his eyes softened for a moment.  He walked towards me but I took a step back. "What have you done?" I asked trying to keep myself from collapsing.

"Shizukana.  It is for the better.  Staying in Konoha won't make you stronger." He said. His eyes were filled with madness. "Orochimaru can help.  He will make us stronger.  We can get revenge."

As soon as I heard Orochimaru, I was filled with rage. "That snake?  You drugged me so you could let that bastard have me?" I asked in disbelief and anger.

"I wouldn't have let him hurt you. I can protect you." He said walking closer to me.  The way he spoke and the way he was acting was completely different, I ike he was drunk on power. I couldn't recognize him at all.

"This isn't you. You would never have done anything to hurt me." I said shaking my head. This caused Sasuke to get angry.

"Just listen to me." He snarled. My hand reached to my pouch. I grabbed a few kunai and raised them in defence.  Sasuke paused at this and burst out in laughter.

"Hahaha.  Like you can hurt me.  Orochimaru woke me from my stupidness.  He showed the way to true power." He said wiping his eyes. "Come with me and we will be the strongest shinobi in the world."

"How far have you gone to think that I would join you even in the slightest?  The fact that you think I would reconsider is a joke." I said gripping my kunai harder.

Sasuke stared at me, as he looked like was having an internal confliction with himself.

"Fine then, if you won't join me, I will have to sever all my bonds with you by killing you." He said activating his Sharingan and running towards me with insane speed.  I dodged his punch and jumped away from him, throwing a few of my marked kunai around the valley.  My pouch was almost empty.

I ducked a kick and teleported towards Naruto.  As soon as I touched the ground, my whole body erupted in pain.  Whatever Sasuke injected in me was blocking my chakra. I saw Sasuke headband fallen next to Naruto. I grabbed it and used it to deflect an incoming kunai but that kunai deflected towards Naruto.  With no choice, I activated my Time Manipulation and slowed downtime.

The kunai froze in midair.  I grabbed and changed its course of direction before pocketing the headband. "Whatever this is, it's no match for my strength," Sasuke said as he ran towards me.

His speed had increased, so I had to remove my weights.  I teleported away from him and made the tiger sign.  Almost instantly, the weight on my wrists, ankles and waist decreased, and I could move more freely and faster.

Third Person's P.O.V.

Sasuke smirked when Shizukana ran head-on towards him.  But what he didn't expect was for her to vanish into thin air and kick him in the side.  There were no marked Kunai any he area so Sasuke had to assume that this was her natural speed.
