22. Sadist Ibiki.

Shizukana's P.O.V.

We entered the room and ignored the stares of the people in the room.

A few moments later, there was a squeal and Sasuke was nearly tackled to the floor when Ino rushed to hug Sasuke.

"Where have you been?" Ino squealed. "Oh, how I've missed your brooding good looks."

Sasuke managed to get her off him when Shikamaru and Choji came over to us.

Shikamaru and I made eye contact which made me smile. I haven't seen him in a long time.

Choji smiled at me while eating his chips.

"You guys also got recommended?" Shikamaru asked making me nod. "What a drag."

Naruto kept talking about how strong he has gotten. What interrupted him was the sound of Kiba's voice.

"Well, looks like the whole gang is back together," Kiba said, smirking and looking overconfident as always. Behind him, Hinata and Shino were quiet as usual.

"Hi, Naruto," Hinata said making Naruto look at her but frown at her in confusion when Hinata looked like she was ready to faint.

Everyone kept on talking and arguing like during academy days.

I sighed. Everyone's here. Meaning a lot of friendly competition. The other ninjas are probably not friendly and who knows what sort of creeps are out there. Especially the red-haired shinobi from Sun- I was interrupted when a silver-haired Ninja with round glasses came towards us.

"You guys are rookies, right? You better keep your voices down. You've already gotten enough attention. Just cool it, this isn't a field trip." The mysterious Genin said.

"Well, who asked you and who are you?" Ino asked annoyed by the fact that he called us rookies.

"Kabuto Yakushi but really, you've made quite the impression," Kabuto said making me look around. Everyone was glaring at us. There was this one guy.

He had spiky black hair and dark eyes. He had the sound village insignia on his forehead protector.

He kept looking at me with this creepy smirk. He eyed me from top to bottom making me seriously uncomfortable.

I looked away when we made eye contact. Kabuto was showing off his info cards. He had information on all the teams including Lee and Garaa.

A spy. He can't have obviously gained information in the library. Meaning he has been spying on their records.

Naruto was awed by Kabuto's information. Everyone else seemed intrigued but I know better than to trust someone who knows you better than the others.

Kabuto kept talking trash about the sound ninja when Sasuke brought them up. Suddenly, a fist came towards Kabuto's face but he was faster and he dodged the punch. But he knelt to the side and barfed all his contents out.

It was the sound ninja from earlier. "How's that for a weak village?" Said the guy who punched him.

But he dodged it. I looked at Kabuto to find his glasses cracked and ears bleeding.

Ears bleeding and glasses cracked. He also barfed. I looked back at the guy who punched and found him wearing some sort of gauntlet. He manipulated the sound waves causing pain, vertigo and nausea. Kinda Ironic coming from the sound village.

As Kabuto and the sound genin were about to fight, a loud boom echoed in the room causing everyone to look at it.

Ibiki Morino stood there with three Chunin behind him.

"Alright maggots, what the hell do you think you're doing?" He yelled at Kabuto and the sound ninja. "You can't fight whenever you want."

"We were just jumpy." One of the sound ninjas answered.

Ibiki dismissed him. He then turned to face everyone. "Alright, you baby-faced degenerates. My name is Ibiki Morino and I am in charge of the first exam."

I tensed up at that. They would put The Ibiki Morino as the proctor for the exam. His will not be easy.

We were given seat numbers and mine was 64.

I made my way to my seat and looked around. Onto my right, a black-haired ninja from Kumogakure and onto my left was one of the sound village ninja's.

I closed my eyes and shook my head. Time to focus. I looked around to find Sasuke and Naruto.

I found Sasuke 5 rows ahead of me while Naruto was next to Hinata, who was 8 rows behind me.

"Now, we are ready. This is the first stage of the Chunin exams. You have been seated at random spots. In five minutes you will start the written test" Ibiki said. I heard a loud gasp and a whine after that. Naruto...

I felt someone staring at me. I looked towards Sasuke to find him looking at me.

He looked at Naruto which made me think the same. Are we in trouble?

"First, we should go through some rules. You will be graded according to your answers. Question number 10 will be explained once all the other questions are done." Ibiki said making me wonder about the question. he continued, " If you are caught cheating then 2 points will be deducted. if you are caught five times then, the sentinels here will disqualify you and your team." He said pointing to all the chunin stationed around the room.

Ibiki paced around the room with a smirk which made us all uncomfortable. "If anyone of you fails the test, then the whole team will be eliminated from the chunin exams."

There it is. Naruto you better not screw this up. I put my head down and sighed deeply.

3rd Person P.O.V

Sasuke looked back to find Shizukana lowering her head and Naruto sweating nervously. Great. Just what I needed. The idiot better not fail.

Naruto was having a panic attack at Ibiki's words. Aww, man. Why did it have to be a written test? If it was anything else then I would have scored.

While Team 7 were suffering from their turmoil, their Sensei was chilling in the room next to them with the other Jonin Sensei's.

"It's kinda quiet without the genin next to us. It's almost like I miss them." Kurenai said. "Shino and Hinata are quiet. It's usually Kiba who has a loudmouth."

"Don't worry. They'll be back soon." Asuma said patting Kurenai's back.

"Why's that?" Kurenai asked tilting her head in confusion.

"Its because Ibiki's the proctor for the first exam and he won't let them off easy," Kakashi answered making the female Jonin's eyes widen.

"You mean, Sadist Ibiki from T&I?" Kurenai asked. Asuma nodded.

"He won't hurt them but he's known for his mind games," Asuma said. "So, Kakashi. Hows the team? I mean they can't be easy."

Kakashi chuckled. "Well, Sasuke doesn't cooperate well with Naruto and vice versa," Kakashi said making Kurenai curious.

"What about Shizukana? Last time I saw her, she wasn't doing so well." Kurenai asked.

"The two boys have no problem with her, but she has this way. she somehow manages to keep her distance from them. Sharp mind but there are a lot of things going on inside her head." Kakashi said with little details as possible. Shizukana values her privacy.

Asuma and Kurenai kept on talking about other things while one thing kept going through his head. Somethings going on and It's not gonna be good.
