Thin Ice - Cobra Kai (Eli/Hawk x reader x Robby)

N I N E - New Students

A few hours later (Y/N) sat with Mr LaRusso re potting plants, while the others attempted to lift the large engraved rock off the ground. "Thank you for being here (Y/N). It always helps to have an extra set of hands." He smiled gratefully at her as she filled another pot with the soil that had been flung across the grass.

"Its no bother Mr LaRusso." (Y/N) assured. "I may not be Miyagi-do but I still spend a lot of my time here. And I hate the thought that someone would do this to such a sacred place." She paused her potting to look around the trashed garden once again.

"Y'know." Daniel began, a proud look on his face. "You may not know karate but you are most definitely Miyagi-do. Its not all about fighting, you've got spirit. And I'm proud of that."

(Y/N) looked at him with a surprised smile. She felt her heart swell as she knew she was apart of something great. That someone was proud of her.

Across the dojo the trio groaned in defeat as they still hadn't been successful in their attempt to lift the rock.

"Are you guys lifting? "ause I feel like I'm doing nothing here." Demetri huffed, clearly out of breath.

Robby shook his head and sighed. "Forget it, its too heavy. Were gonna need a fork lift."

"How'd they even knock it over?" Sam asked, looking down at the rock.

Mr LaRusso looked up from his plant to consult his students. "It's a lot easier to know something down than it is to lift it up."

"I'm sure you'll get it up again." (Y/N) chimed in.

"Uh... Excuse me?"

Everyone turned their attention to the dojo, were a few downtrodden members of Cobra Kai stood. "Is this Miyagi-do?"

Robby instantly marched over to the group, clearly angry at them. "Come back for another beating?" He spat.

(Y/N) rushed over with Mr LaRusso as he attempted to stop the boy. "Hey Robby!" He called, reaching his hand out infront of the boy. "Robby!"

(Y/N) placed a hand on his shoulder and offered a kind smile, which he softened at. Before going back to glaring at the group. "This is one of the guys who was beating on Demetri.... probably helped to trash the dojo."

"What you were the guys who went after my best friend?" (Y/N) snapped, pushing her way past Robby to the group. "Don't you ever touch him again or I'll-!" She was dragged back by Robby before she could finish, holding both her arms with one hand and using the other to wrap around her waist to hold her tightly.

"We didn't have anything to do with the Dojo." The boy frowned. "And I am sorry about what happened at the mall." He called over to Demetri. "We just want to learn Miyagi-do."

(Y/N) huffed but called down in Robby's grip. He leant down to her ear and whispered;
"Not much of a fighter huh?"

His breath tickled her ear and neck, causing her to blush. And totally miss the argument from Demetri telling Mr LaRusso not to allow Cobra Kai into the dojo.

But before anyone else could argue, he welcomed them in. As every other student looked at one another, skeptical.

The tensions were high as soon as the new students began to help. (Y/N) decided to stick with Demetri as he began working with the guy she came to know as Chris. He seemed nice enough, towards her at least.

But with Demetri little fights would break out easy. One slipp of the tongue would cause any peace between the two to shatter into a heated argument.
