A couple of nights later (Y/N) invited her new friends over for a pizza night. She had tried to apologise to Sam for the other night but found all her messages left of read. Even Demetri ignored her.
"Wait so you live alone now?" Hawk asked with a smirk. He sat with (Y/N), Tory and Miguel in the living room of her uncles house, watching whatever the TV had to offer.
"Only for a couple of weeks. My uncle has a lot of business trips to go on. And my cousins live in the city he's currently visiting so he's staying longer." She explained.
"Awesome." He remarked, throwing a wink in her direction.
She rolled her eyes as the doorbell rang. "Ooo! Pizza's here!" She grinned before leaving the room.
As soon as she was out of sight Tory immediately turned to Hawk, who was watching (Y/N) with a smirk as she left. "So when you gonna make a move?"
He looked at her with wide eyes, as if he'd been caught with his hand in the cookie jar. "I-i don't know what you're talking about."
Tory rolled her eyes. "You're not very subtle. Maybe she can't see it but we definitely can. Make a move. Don't be a pussy." She challenged.
He scowled. "I don't like her like that." He lied. "Besides, I'm going to get Moon back." He pulled up his shirt, showing the cresent moon tattoo. "This means forever."
Miguel sighed, placing his arm around Tory. "Dude you need to let her go. You have a perfectly good girl right in front of you. If you don't take this chance... someone else might."
Hawk opened his mouth to retaliate but was cut off as (Y/N) returned to the room with 5 pizza boxes. "I hope you're hungry cause we got a free one." She frowned as she noticed the slight tension in the room. "Is everything okay?"
Tory glanced at Hawk before nodding. "Totally fine! Were starving thats all." She said grabbing a box from her.
As the night wore on the tension remained, although hidden well by the laughter. And soon enough it was time for Miguel to leave, followed out by Tory. "Thanks for tonight (Y/N), we should definitely do this again after school starts." Miguel grinned.
"Definitely, see you guys." She smiled, waving goodbye as they left. She turned back into the house to see Hawk organising the pizza boxes so they looked neat. "Shouldn't you head off to? Its getting late."
He raised an eyebrow. "What? So I can't spend a little alone time with my best friend?" He teased, walking over to her and handing her the left over pizza. "I was thinking that we still have 5 Harry Potter movies to watch."
(Y/N) shook her head with a laugh. "Really? Don't you remember what happened last time lover boy?" She cautioned, noticing a red tint on his cheeks.
"Is that a yes or no?" Hawk questioned, waiting impatiently for an answer.
"Fine it's a yes. Sit down Pigeon." She giggled before turning on the 3rd Harry Potter movie. She sat on the couch, making her self comfortable as Hawk came and sat down next to her.
They sat in silence for the most part of the movie, then Hawk done his usual placing his arm over her shoulder to pull her closer.
She felt her heart flutter. Ever since she found out that Robby decided to ditch her for Sam Hawk had been by her side everyday. Mostly thanks to Johnny Lawrence not letting her spend the days indoors. But still, he had been there making her smile every day since.
Looking away from the TV she glanced up at him, catching his attention. "What?" He asked, noticing her staring.
She shrugged. "I'm just admiring my friend. Reminding myself how lucky I am to have him."
