"After thorough examination and assessment we have come to a final decision on your diagnosis." A doctor spoke solemnly, clancing from his notes to his patient.

(Y/N) sat quietly awaiting her fate. Twirling her fingers nervously as her uncle sat at her bedside. Equally as nervous for the answer they were dreading.

"Unfortunately (Y/N) we have reason to believe that you endangered yourself by skipping meals and starving yourself. Your refusal to eat suggests disordered eating habits. More specifically Anorexia."

(Y/N)'s heart dropped. She never meant to let it get this far. She was going to stop. Or at least thats what she told herself.

Glancing over she saw her uncle place his head into his hands at the doctors words. He looked so disappointed. He let the doctor talk more about his nieces diagnosis before looking up to speak.

"So what do we do? What treatment does she need?"

(Y/N) felt her pulse race at the mention of treatment.

"Miss (Y/N) has a week to improve her habits by her own choice before we send her for treatment at a specialist centre. They'll hold her there until they feel she's improved enough to be discharged. But I'll explain further about it if the time comes."

Silence hung in the air as (Y/N) took in the doctors word. Would they really send her away? And hold her in some treatment centre until she was better?

She frowned, she didn't want to be sent away. She wanted to stay with her friends, with her uncle.

Jimmy sighed before turning to the doctor. "Thank you for your time doc. I'd like to speak to my niece in private."

The doctor nodded, heading out the door and leaving the room.

For a short while the room remained deathly silent. (Y/N) was sure the only thing he could hear was her own heartbeat in her ears. She couldn't handle the silence any longer.

"Jimmy I-"

"How could you do this to yourself?" He aske in a hushed whisper. "How could you let yourself down like this?"

(Y/N) froze. "I didn't... I mean... I was gonna stop soon. I swear."

"When!?" Jimmy suddenly snapped, standing up from the creaky hospital chair. "When were you going to stop?? When your heart gave out?? Or when you collapsed in a place were no one could help?? Tell me (Y/N)!! When were you going to stop!?"

Tears welled up in the frail girls eyes as she couldn't muster an answer. Seeing her uncle so upset because of her was awful. "I... I'm sorry... just... please don't send me away. Jimmy I'll get better. I swear."

Jimmy scowled, tears of his own threatening to spill. "Your mother would be so disappointed in you."  He muttered.

Before she could stop them, (Y/N)'s tears overflowed and poured down her cheeks. Sobs wracked her body at the thought of her mother. "I... I..." She hiccuped between sobs.

"You have one week. One week to improve or I'm taking the doctors advice and sending you to the treatment centre." He warned, looking her dead in the eyes. "Your mother would never forgive me for letting you do this to yourself." Without another word, he stepped outside the room and into the hallway. Leaving (Y/N) to her thoughts.

Robby wandered his way down the hospital hallway, a bouquet of flowers in his hand. As he made his way towards his girlfriends room he spotted her uncle walking toward him.

Jimmy gave Robby a small smile a he noticed him. "Hey Robby."

"Hey. Everything okay?" Robby questioned.
