Bobert finished telling the pack the story for the night and headed to his room. He opened the door and looked up at Y/n.

"Why are you ignoring me?"

She stared at him and he shut the door, walking over to the bed. Bobert laid down and put his head in the girl's lap, lightly holding her thigh.

"I'm not ignoring you." She whispered, twirling his curls around her finger. "You've been avoiding me... Something's changed in you, Y/n/n... You don't let me hold you anymore."

Y/n sighed and delicately moved some of her fingers down to his skin. It was soft and warm.

"Ever since I was put in charge it's like you want nothing to do with me."

The way he spoke so surely of her hatred for him made her sad. "I love you, B. Okay? Look at me." He looked up at her and Y/n smiled. "Yeah... I'll always love you."

He sat up and connected their lips. Y/n wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him so he was on top of her as she laid down. The room was dimly lit by a few candles, giving it a more romantic vibe.

Bobert pulled away and Y/n cuddled up to him. "I'll love you forevermore, darling." Y/n whispered to him quietly, caressing his collarbone.
