Downright mean R.W

Y/N never let the words of Ron Weasley said get to her. She knew that what he said wasn't true and she knew that Ron hated her because she was a Slytherin.

She didn't blame him because Y/N knew how Slytherins were, especially Draco.

But that didn't stop her from being nice to him. Even though every time she tried talking to him or give him a good morning, he would ignore her while rolling his eyes.

And even though he hated Y/N that didn't stop her from having a small crush on him. She didn't know why, maybe it was because in first year before they were sorted, Ron was actually nice to her. And when she got into Slytherin that stopped.

Y/N heard him talk to Harry and Hermione about her and she tried not to let it get to her, but she wished that he would at least acknowledge her existence. Harry and Hermione were always nice to her even though she was in Slytherin.

Her parents were purebloods but she was never mean to mudbloods. But her parents died, she didn't know how but she went to go live with her aunt who was nice to her but never told her what happened to her parents.

She was never mean to anyone. And everyone was shocked when she got sorted into Slytherin because everyone thought she'd be in Hufflepuff.

Y/N particularly didn't like her house since most of the people in Slytherin were particularly mean. There were some people that were nice but usually they weren't.

Y/N never had any friends. Harry and Hermione would always be nice to her but they weren't friends at least to Y/N. She always felt lonely since she didn't have anyone to talk to.

She never got bullied except for the few occasions with some people who didn't like Slytherins.

Y/N never considered Ron's back talking bullying she just thought it was rude. But maybe it was the crush she had on him.

She knew he would never feel the same since he would make handoff remarks to her. Like "don't talk to me I don't like snakes" and much more. She never talked back though.

Which lead her to today where she was walking though the halls getting to here next class which was Potions.

She was about to cross the corner when she heard one of the Weasley twins talking.

"Heard someone has a crush on you mate," Y/N heard Fred at least she thought that it was Fred. She stopped herself so they didn't see her. There were students walking back and forth but she could hear the the three talking loud and clear.

"Bugger off Fred," Ron snapped at his older brother before he let out a sigh. "Who is it," Ron asked curiosity in his voice.

"That one shy Slytherin Y/N," George answered with a grin on his face. Y/N could feel her heart start to race even faster than it already was.

"Well that's good for her," Ron deadpanned. "I don't like her."

Y/N could feel her heart drop to her stomach. She knew he didn't like her so why was she surprised. Maybe it was since he actually said and it felt more real to her.

She doesn't know why it hurts so much since she already knew the truth.

She didn't want to be this hurt she just wanted to disappear.

For the rest of the day Y/N had a bitter mood. Anyone who bumped into her she snapped at. She didn't want to be mean she just didn't want to be messed with not this day not today.

It's been a couple days since she heard Ron say those rude those words. And this is the anniversary of the day she last time saw her parents. Whether they died or went to Azkaban.

And with the sudden realization of Ron not liking, this was not a day to mess with her.

When she walked into her transfigurations class she sat down angrily next to Ron who was her desk mate much to his dismay.

"What's got you in a puff Y/L/N," Ron asked with a grin.

"Nothing," Y/N snapped at the Weasley who looked at her in shock.

"My bad was just asking," Ron muttered.

"You never bother asking asking before so why ask now," Y/N glared at him. He never even glance at her so why was he so worried about her. "It's not like you like me."

"I don't I just don't want you huffing and puffing while I'm trying to work," Ron snapped at her which made Y/N roll her eyes. "Man what's got your panties in a bunch," Ron muttered.

"It's just not the day to mess with me," Y/N sighed running her hands through her hair. "I've been having a bad day."

"Can't be that bad with you having the perfect life and family," Ron rolled his eyes which made Y/N anger rise even more than it was before.

"Well hey at least you still got your parents Weasley," Y/N shouted at the Weasley. "I'd rather be you than myself."

Ron was surprised by her sudden outburst. Y/N never ever shouted at anyone. Even though it seemed like Ron didn't like Y/N he did.

He just didn't want to disappoint his family by dating a Slytherin since Slytherins aren't the most nicest. Harry and Hermione always scold him to not be mean and just admit his feelings to Y/N instead of being a bully.

"Y/N I'm-," Ron began to apologize but was interrupted by Y/N holding her hand up silencing him.

"Save it Weasley from now on just give me my space," Y/N snapped at him which made him frown.

"Don't give me space that's the last thing I want with you Y/N," Ron whispered to her.

This surprised Y/N he never called her by her first name. What surprised her even more was that he was being nice to her.

Before Y/N could continue the teacher came in and was getting ready to start teacher.

For the rest of the class Y/N was racking her brain wondering why Ron was being so nice to her. Was it just a prank. Is it his version of a funny joke.

After this class Y/N ran out of the class before Ron could reach her and went to the Slytherin common room before she heard Ron behind her. She was surprised that he followed her to the Slytherin Common room since he didn't want to run into any of the people in Slytherin.

She was a little way up the stairs when Ron came up to the bottom of the stairs grabbing her writs stopping her.

"Wait Y/N let me talk to you," Ron begged. This version of Ron surprised her it seemed like he was completely different person. Before she could respond Ron beat her to, "Just give me a couple minutes and if you don't want to talk anymore after that we don't have to darling."

Y/N nodded turning her body to stare at him.

"I've always like you Y/N but since you got in Slytherin I thought you were just bad. That's what all Slytherin seemed like to me so I just buried my feelings. But now I notice that you have an actual heart," Ron explained to Y/N which made her smile at him.

"So this isn't some cruel joke you're pulling on me," Y/N wearily asked not wanting it to be a joke.

"I promise love this is not a joke," Ron whispered his hand leaving her wrist to move to her cheek rubbing his thumb in circles. "So do you feel the same," He muttered.

Y/N didn't say anything she just bent down to attach her lips to his. He moved his lips along with her. They stood there kissing before Y/N moved away needing to breath and the stairs she's standing on giving her more height and bending down kissing him made her neck her.

"I'm guessing George and Fred were right."
