"Alright, I have a plan. I'll go over it with you, so make sure you're listening to every word. Before I begin, I want you to know that you could die yourself, are you sure you really want to do this?" He asked.

"Are my chances of death high or low?" You replied.

"Depends on how well you listen. There shouldn't be too much of a reason to worry. I will go over the plan now over phone, and once again before we begin. Ready?"

You hummed in response. Currently, you were still on the phone with Xiao, getting directions on bringing the Childe back.

"Alright, I will have an area set up in the back of my shop. If you want to save your friend, we're going to need to find him and the demon that has him 'captive'. Your job is to find both of them. Once you successfully convince your friend to come back, you can use any way you please to lure the other out. As long as it works, I will do the work of getting rid of the pest." He passed to take a breath, then continued.

"I'll go into detail when this actually takes place, however I'll need time to gather necessities and people. Just three days is all I need, however I also require two things from you before this takes place." He finished.

"Whatever you need, name it." You responded, ready to gather whatever you needed to.

"Six orders of Almond Tofu from the café down the street, and something that holds meaning or connection between you and your friend. It should be something small enough to carry though, no bigger than a medium sized stuffed animal." He specified.

You glanced at the drawing, smiling.

"Got it, and what's the payment? How much Mora will this be costing?" You asked.

"None. Just the Almond Tofu." He replied.

Though you couldn't see, he was smiling. This would be worth it for the free food.

"Got it. When would you like me to come in?" You questioned.

"Like I said, three days from now. Come in after closing, which is 5:30 PM. You can help set up before we get started." He responded.

"Okay, see you then. Thank you, Xiao." You grinned.

He hummed in response, ending the call. You cheered loudly, though only you could hear it.

"I'm not giving up on you yet, Childe." You spoke, loudly, hoping he'd hear it.

Though he did not, it didn't stop you from celebrating.

'Im really gonna owe Xiao after this one, though.' You thought, chuckling a little.

should i add songs for the next few chapters cuz i have some that may be fitting, but the time might be way off from reading/finishing the chapter and all that AHH
