"Hey"
Jin Ae greeted as she rounded the corner-Chunhae stood next to her kitchen counter, munching on a breadstick with a glass of water in the other.
"Couldn't sleep?"
"It's childish but what if someone like drags my blanket, think of all the germs"
Chunhae chuckled at her friend nodding in agreement, one thing that she learned about Jin Ae was her inability to keep herself from cleaning after she made a mess-thus explains the closet of febreze she had.
"Yah I just know it'd be your worst nightmare"
"Somehow I'm bored"
Chunhae faked offense placing her hand on her chest.
"I know I'm a boring bitch-explains why I don't have a lot of friends"
"W-wait no-I didn't mean it like that!"
Jin Ae's face flushed red, blush spreading across her cheeks and tinting the top of her ears. Panicking as she waved her arms around frantically.
Chunhae raised a brow, chuckling as she made her way next to her.
"You're so cute-no wonder I like you"
And if it was even possible Jin Ae's face became redder-sputtering incoherent words.
"I'm not into girls"
Chunhae bursted out laughing staring at the girl's faced as confusion was etched on it.
"Ohmygod-you thought, well it was misleading of me"
She gasped between laughs only stopping to look at Jin Ae's face before doubling again with laughter.
"it wasn't that funny-"
"Oh yes it is, anyway you just moved here right?"
"Yeah I grew up her but we moved away for some personal reasons"
Chunhae nodded, popping a breadstick in her mouth. She stared out the window, a thought crossing her mind.
"Want to do some crazy shit with me?"
"Depends on the type of crazy shit you're thinking-"
The girl chuckled, once again finding amusement in her friend. She wordlessly took Jin Ae's hand-snatching a couple jackets before pulling her out the door.
"So where are we going?"
"Have you heard of the haunted manor near our school?"
"No"
And somehow Jin Ae could feel herself getting nervous at the sudden grin that crept up the latter's face.
"Well fuck, how did I ended up with a paranormal loving bitch?"
"Oh shut up hoe-I didn't complain about your febreze closet"
The two girls stared at the other before bursting out in laughter, they've known each other for less than a year yet they felt as if they've known each other since birth.
And amongst the laughter with her new found friend, she forgot the chaos that brought her here in the first place.
But only one thing crossed her mind as they walked the unsafe streets of Timor with the stars glistening up the sky-Jin Ae could only wonder if this was what life was like for the other side of the wall too.
Well she wouldn't know-she had never been there, and she sure as hell wasn't aware of the efforts of a certain gang infiltrating the said place.
