“Yang Ge,” Yibo called out from his spot on the kitchen counter.

“Yes?” Yang replied, continuing to cook.

“Do you… do you think Ge… will… umm… ever… love me?” Yibo asked, his gaze fixed on his hands.

Yang sighed deeply.

“Little one, it’s difficult but not impossible. As long as you don’t make any rash decisions…” Yang said.

“But I’ve never made any rash decisions,” Yibo whimpered.

“Ask yourself,” Yang replied.

Yibo looked at him in horror, realizing the gravity of his situation.

“I… I’m sorry,” Yibo said, tears streaming down his face.

“I know you’re sorry. But Yibo, imagine being in Zhan’s position. Could you forgive someone who caused such turmoil in your life?” Yang asked.

Yibo shook his head in response.

“That’s why it’s hard for Zhan to accept you. But it’s not impossible,” Yang said with a smirk.

“What should I do to make him love me?” Yibo asked earnestly.

“Zhan still yearns for love, care, and tenderness. You just need to show him these qualities and prove that you won’t abandon him like his family and friends did,” Yang said with a sad smile.

“But he doesn’t even talk to me,” Yibo said with a pout.

“Find a way to communicate with him,” Yang suggested with a grin, causing Yibo’s eyes to widen in surprise.

“He isn’t even interested in me,” Yibo said, his gaze dropping.

Yang laughed heartily.

“Little one, you don’t fully understand your husband,” Yang said, still chuckling.

“Zhan is very assertive. If he wants something, he will find a way to get it. The same goes for his emotions. He can be very protective, so be careful not to provoke him too much,” Yang added with a grin.

Yibo hid his blushing face in embarrassment.

“Oh, Yibo, I almost forgot something,” Yang said, his voice tinged with concern.

“What is it, Yang Ge?” Yibo asked, confusion evident in his tone.

“You, little one, come with me,” Yang said, guiding Yibo away.

Yibo was led to a room in a corner of their mansion, wondering what was happening.

As Yang opened the door, Yibo’s eyes widened in surprise.

“Oh my God, so cute!” Yibo exclaimed, almost jumping towards the cat.

But he pouted when the cat ignored him and moved away, causing Yang to laugh heartily.

“Hahaha… Lia doesn’t seem to like you,” Yang said, picking up the cat.

“Don’t make fun of me,” Yibo protested.

“This is Zhan’s beloved pet,” Yang said proudly, showing off Lia.

“Oh, just like him, ignoring me,” Yibo said, pouting.

“That’s true. Their personalities are similar, but both are endearing. Sometimes I wonder if she might be related to Zhan,” Yang said with an amused smile.

“No, only my baby can be Gege’s child,” Yibo whimpered.

Yang couldn’t believe his ears and burst out laughing again, finding it hard to believe.
