When Namjoon told Bangtan about his plan to end the gang, there were certainly a mixture of reactions:

There were people like Taehyung and Jimin, people who at first were blatantly shocked by the news, but quickly accepted it and optimistically looked upon what the future had in store for them.

Hoseok and Yoongi took it harshly, deeply offended by the man who'd once been the very first of their co-founding trio trying to end something they'd worked so hard to succeed in. They refused to have any further discussions with him for the next few days.

But finally, they came to the conclusion that all this should be left behind.

They'd made their mark in history, gained respect on their name and proven each of their strengths and talents; what more could any immorally-delved criminals want?

Besides it wouldn't last much longer until the consequences began to kick in, concluding that it was better to stop now whilst they were ahead.

Seokjin respectfully accepted Namjoon's wishes. As his best friend, he knew how much he'd wanted to let go of this lifestyle, how much it had traumatised and pained Namjoon over these past few years.

He'd seen Namjoon shift into and out of a mask of tyranny and arrogance, watching as he'd forgotten his sense of humanity at one point, but was grateful to see him happier and more at ease with his life as a result of letting go.

Jungkook... Jungkook took the news worst of all.

This gang was his family, it was the only thing he had left. The others had had it better for themselves, a further education, a passion for seeking change and further goals, but Jungkook hadn't had any of that. He knew deep down inside that he wouldn't be able to go out there alone again.

His past still heavily resonated with him; he still needed them to overcome it.

After much explaining, he'd finally comprehended that it was just the blood-ridden works the gang delved into was ending, not the deep and compassionate bonds they had created with one another, and although some hesitancy still underlaid within him, he agreed to their ending.

Namjoon wasn't just doing this for Seoyeon, he didn't want them to hate her for ruining their livelihood.

He was doing this for them as well.

For their own benefit as he knew criminals in such a world like this were only bound to suffer a predictable doom of either rotting away in prison or, with their hefty amount of crimes, on death row.

No one could hurt them now.
Nor could they hurt anyone now.

They were moving onto better things, to things that were more stable, and things that ensured them with a happier, more satisfiable life.

Their chance to live like normal people; do normal things.

The weakened side of them that they were too afraid to show, would no longer needed to be concealed.

Namjoon had found the person that loved him for both the courageous and broken side to him, and it was time that the others found someone who could accept them just as she had to him.

Someone who'd make their lives so much more better, and perhaps even teach them a beautiful thing or two about themselves that they themselves had failed to realise.

The ending of Bangtan had to take place so that the once traumatic and painful beginnings of Bangtan, could flourish into more beautiful ones as they'd learnt to heal once more...
