( Here it starts from Riddhima getting shot for the second time. Also Vansh doesn't reveal that he isn't Vihaan. )

Pressing on the knees, he got up hoping for his wish made to Bappa come true. Vansh looked at Bappa with pleading eyes and wiped the tears that formed at the corner. He faced back at the hallway where there was chaos two hours back. Vansh paved his way to the operation theatre.

The red lights went off and the doctor came out. The doctor removed his mask and searched for the patient's relatives. There he saw a man tensed sitting pressuring his forehead. He walked towards him and relaxed his hands on the man's shoulder.

"Doctor, how is she?" Vansh asked almost broken. "It was indeed a miracle that she came back from death. She is now good and will be kept under observation for 48 hours" said the senior doctor with a smile.

Hearing the good news, Vansh got up from his seat and ran towards the room. He opened the door and saw his wife attached to multiple machines. She was still unconscious but her face was tensed. It was no new as her face would be tensed half of the time he was around her.

Riddhima started blinking her eyes and Vansh ran towards her. The nurse checked everything and gave some space to the husband-wife.

Riddhima tried to open her mouth but her oxygen mask wasn't allowing her to do so. Somehow she managed and muttered, "Vihaan." Vansh's facial expressions changed as he didn't expected her to take his name. He recovered himself remembering he has to stay into the character.

"Dollar Biwi, you are not supposed to be talking. Just keep quiet and rest. You have had an operation just now." Riddhima looked at him confused. She wasn't able to go with the fact that Vihaan is serious at the moment. "Don't give me that look. You saved my life. And I'm helping you recover. That's it" Vansh said looking away.

The sound of the glass clanking against the table made Vansh look at Riddhima. Poor she can't even talk for the night. Vansh raised his eyebrows. Riddhima asked him whether he had dinner or not moving her hands. "No" he replied. Riddhima threw the glass on the floor and glared at him. 'Made me drink such a bitter soup and didn't eat anything himself. Such a careless person' she cursed him in her mind.

Vansh had the dinner on Riddhima's saying and made her sleep. After assuring she is fully asleep, he tiptoed out and walked to the doctor's cabin. He knocked the door and entered the cabin. The doctor indicated him to sit and looked at him curiously. "When will she get the discharge?" Vansh asked. "One week. Formalities will take a week" the doctor replied.

"Tomorrow itself. No questions regarding the shootout and the money will be transferred" Vansh said in his deep yet calm baritone. The doctor nodded gulping down his throat. He wiped the sweat pearls formed looking at the gun on his table. Vansh picked the gun and placed it back in his pocket. He opened the door and made his way back to his wife.

"Good morning, Mr. Vihaan" Riddhima chirped across the room. Vansh opened his eyes and looked at Riddhima. She was sitten up and the nurse was finishing up with the last touches of the bandage. "The doctor decided to remove the oxygen mask looking at my speedy recovery" she said happy. "Hmmm. Good" he replied adjusting himself to the couch. "Hey. This is not fair. You shouldn't be sleeping" was the last thing he heard from her mouth before drifting back to deep sleep.

"Vansh" Riddhima said in her low yet tempting voice. Vansh opened his eyes with new feelings growing inside him. He kept looking at the face which was direct in front of him. Riddhima smacked his arm and he looked around. There Sia was trying to control her laughter. Vansh was flushed with a huge wave of disappointment but composed himself.
