The leaves of the tree were rushing here to there creating rustling sounds. The mild wind flowing around making the dust particles to move. Suddenly, drizzles started flowing down from the clouds in slant directions. Riddhima ran to the window with the book in one hand she was reading and the shawl's tip on the other. The shawl covering her around made her feel secure in this lone Mansion.

Keeping the book aside on the table, she opened the window and let the water touch her face. The feels were new everytime she spread herself to touch the droplets of coldness. Making her face wet, the clouds now increased their speed. Riddhima instantly brought  herself in and looked above. The dark sky with some stars in between. No moon was seen in sight. Not always the sky becomes bright because of the moon, stars too, light out dim but together making the sky shine.

Riddhima was busy adoring the stars when the thunder claps were heard. Till now, her mood was light and happy but the thunders changed them into heavy and fear. She became worried as she the weather was worsening. She quickly walked fast to the landline phone. The lights were kept off on purpose. She enjoyed staying in the dark with only one table light on. Gripping both the ends tight of the phone, she dialled the number. The call went off to voice message and disconnected soon. She again dialled the number and waited patiently.

"Hello! This is Vansh RaiSinghania you're calling. If anything to be spoken out then please leave the message here. Thank you" the voice message replayed. Failing in calling him, she walked to the window sadly. As she was walking taking baby steps, the wind increased it's pace and the windows started clashing. Riddhima closed all the windows one by one and sat on the sofa in the middle of the living area. Getting anxious every minute passing by, she decided to take a short nap to distract herself. Resting her head on the sofa and using the shawl as a blanket, she dozed off in no time.

The roads about to fill with water but stopped by the drainage continuously flowing down. The people walking gloomy with umbrellas in hands but not opened. The speed of wind made them choose walking getting wet rather than straightening the umbrella every time a strong wind passes. The windshield wipers working without a stop to make it clear for the drivers to reach home fast. Not caring about anyone else, a car moved swiftly splashing the water all on the banks of the road. Before anyone could complain, the car was out of sight.

The car stopped abruptly at the gates and started honking continuously. The gaurds who had taken shelter in their cabins came out covering themselves with hands to not to get wet. They opened the gates and the car rushed inside. Closing the gates quietly, they walked back to their cabins. The car jerked and he was about to hit his head on the steering wheel but he stopped himself. He turned the keys, got out of the car and banged the doors. He slipped the keys in his pocket and ran to the entrance of the Mansion.

The doors swung open and he entered in hurriedly. "Riddhima! Riddhima!" he screamed. The darkness was already fearing him and no response was adding fuel to it. The voice echoed in the Mansion and broke Riddhima's sleep. She got up and stood up straight. "Vansh" she whispered looking at the blurred figure. "Riddhima" he mumbled and walked to the voice. Riddhima was now able to see the figure and saw her husband standing in front of her.

A smile curved on her lips and she moved forward to hug him. But to her surprise, he moved two steps back. "I'm wet. Fully" he raised up his hands with a grin. "You would catch cold" she said going back to their room for the towel. As she took a step on the stairs, she heard a sneeze. She turned behind and saw Vansh rubbing his nose. She put her hands on her hips and he pulled his ears in a sorry. "Come, you need a hot shower" she said not looking at his mischievous smirk.

"Why don't you join me?" he asked her  following her behind. "Vaansh! I will catch cold because of you" she sounded serious. Vansh realized it and shook his head, "Then don't. You should be in a good state, no matter what." She smiled and opened the door. Vansh quickly tip-toed to the bathroom. Riddhima sat on the bed waiting for him to call her. The twists her destiny gave her and brought here up, as Vansh RaiSinghania's wife but she accepted. She accepted everything around her and started loving her own husband. Now that things are settled, she wishes nothing more.
