I shake my head, I think I might have had too many drinks. I awkwardly wave over to draco who's leaning up a pillar watching me closely. I send him a scared look.

"Wow I've been gone how long and I don't even get a hello?" The boy says.

I recognise his voice.

He's yet to look up so I can't fully see his face... he has curly hair and was wearing a denim jacket. He placed the guitar down and looks up at me smirking.

"MAX?!" I shout and tackle him into a hug.

"Happy birthday, sweetheart" he smiled as I bury my head into his neck.

"I've missed you so fucking much"

"I missed you too" he replies.

"I need to get you caught up on everything" I said as I pulled away.

I noticed that Fred and George were smirking at me. They set this up. Sneaky bastards.

"No need Pansy owled me yesterday... I'm so sorry Ariel" he said his eyes full of sympathy.

"It's fine I'm over it" I replied with a reassuring smile.

"He's lucky that I wasn't here-" he started but i cut him off.

"Draco took care of him" I laughed.

"Okay lets get this party started" George said walking over to the drums. Fred was playing a bass guitar.

Max looked different... not appearance wise. Maybe he was just upset about what happened to me while he was away.

"Shit..." I was nervous Fred set up the mic for me and I got a sudden adrenaline rush. The liquid luck...

"What song are we going?" I asked.

"Up to you" Fred said.

"Umm how about 'still into you' by Paramore?"

"Yeah we know that one thanks to Hermione" George laughed.

They started playing and it was my turn to start singing I was a little taken back I didn't sound bad... must be the serum.

I was squeezing my eyes shut in embarrassment but when I eventually opened them, everyone was dancing which made me feel more confident.

"When our fingers interlock can't deny, can't deny... you're worth it" I sang, catching draco staring at me tilting his head.

He was genuinely smiling, not smirking... for once.

The crowd were jumping around. I felt the serum give me a confidence boost and I began to sing my heart out.

" 'Cause After all this time... I'm still into you" I sang purposely looking at draco and winking.

"I should be over all the butterflies..." I felt like I had gone quieter but I hadn't Max was playing louder and clenching his jaw.

He was looking between me and someone else, I tried to follow his eye-line but I couldn't see who he was looking at.

Me and Fred sent him a glare that said turn it down but he ignored us so I sang louder.

"...but I'm into you" I continued to sing.

When I had finished the song the serums effects had worn of and The stage fright came back.
