Kai walked into the field, searching for that familiar green tuft of hair in this sea of people. She found him, and began walking towards him. When she was a foot away, she was pulled back by a hand. She found it to be the class sweetheart, Todoroki Shoto. She never got the appeal. "I'll beat you. You're a villan, and what appears to be a powerful one. I'll beat you, without my left side, and show my old man that I can be a hero without his curse of a quirk." He spoke. "Wha...?" Kai tilted her head. "M'kay,  m'kay, listen. I get that you're all angsty and that you think I'm your enemy, but treating me as your personal punching bag? That's where I draw the line. I do not care about your trauma. Don't beat me up because you have daddy issues. Get. therapy." Kai snapped. God, she was tired of the villan treatment. Whenever she does something right, apparently it's wrong. Don't get her started about what happened on Friday.

DOOT DE DOOT DO-DOOT, FLASHBACK!

Brought to you by Kai as a waitress

She was skating home, she threw her work uniform on, smiling. Peggy had finally finished marking up her shift hours. She was getting a job! It'd distract her from whatever ridiculous lie that the "Heroes" came up with. In all her years...she turned on her heel, skidding towards the entrance. She pulled open the cafe doors to be met with an...unfamiliar sight, to say the least. "Please, sir, she means no harm. Can you please get your partners out of her room?" Peggy spoke. One: Why was her homeroom teacher in the cafe? Two: What was Peggy talking about?  Three: What was that loud banging noise upstairs? "We have to search her room. We have our suspicions." Her teacher spoke. Mumu had enough. Like, to the point where his AI was lagging out, making his speech lag. "O-OKAY. THAT IS E-ENOUGH. K-KAI NEVER DID ANYTHING TO Y-YOU. FROM W-WHAT I KNOW, S-SHE SAVED YOUR SORRY ASSE-" "What's going on?" Kai spoke. What truly was going on, and what'd she had to do with it?  "K, I don't think you-" "Go check your room." Two differing messages from two people who usually agree with each other on everything. She cautiously went into her room, and it took all her energy not to, pass out, scream, or kill a man. Her belongings, the few things she had left of her home, things that were irreplaceable, strewn across the floor, stepped on, and/or ripped. She knelt down, picking up a sheet of ripped paper. She flipped it over to reveal

The first picture ever she took with her family.

Now, Kai is not a crybaby by any means. She has been through it all, and she smiled, laughed, and joked about it with everyone she knew.  But, Kai clings to everyone she loves like a magnet. And when something is emotionally attached to them, like her hoodie, or her picture, she is emotionally vulnerable. "C'mon, we need to find something on her, she started this whole thing, and we're gonna end it." They didn't care. This was irreplaceable. Yet they went on, ruining everything else. She sniffed. "Hey, could you all do something for me?" The men turned, surprised to see the girl home. Tears streaming down her cheeks, unamused expression on her face.
