When the Savior of the Multiverse, Kai Drew, gets thrown into a different dimension where she's seen as a villain out to get them, she has to try and survive a dimension where her life is turned upside down. From being ostracized at school to having close calls with villains, it feels like Kai has nobody in her corner (other than the Cafe Crew, a group of family friends that set up shop in 132). But, when there's darkness, there's light. Kai gains a few friends and allies, all of which will do whatever it takes to prove Kai's innocence. After getting kidnapped at her summer training camp, it's revealed to the world that Kai isn't what they've been told, and a revolution in society begins in her name. Kai learns that somebody knows her story and of her situation, but something isn't quite right. They seem to know details of Kai's story, but they didn't seem to account for Kai's usual tricks, attacks, her stubbornness, and the fact that she would never turn to the dark side. After Kai defeats this person, the heroes try and get her back on their side. Kai refuses, and says she isn't on anyone's side. Kai then is told she is a criminal and has to go with them. She refused once again and ran away, now a criminal on the run. She finds a place to stay, as well as a new friend. Kai asks the same question that many who knew her were also asking themselves:
