XXIII • Winter's Voice

Draco...do you remember what I have told you about her voice?

Third Person's POV

"Mama!" She turned around to see a small girl with a strawberry blonde hair, running towards her as her blue eyes glistened. She looked confused as the small girl crashed on her legs.

"Mama, look! I picked a dandelion for you" The small girl said, Y/n confusingly picked her up. She was quite familiar to Y/n and she doesn't know why

"Winter?" She asked, the little girl nodded and grinned at her

"Mama, you're pranking me again" Winter said, pouting. For the first time, Y/n felt the void has been filled and her longing has ended

"I'm sorry...Mama just joking, have you seen your Papa?"

"Didn't we left him with Scorpius?" Winter asked a but confused at her. Her surroundings did change, she knew where she was, but she was unsure how did she get there

"Well, shall we go inside? I'm sure Scorpius would also love to see a dandelion"

"Can we blow it after?" Y/n nodded at Winter, she kissed her cheeks as Winter giggled. They went inside, where they were greeted by a warm breeze

"There they are Scorp" Y/n's ears perked up as she heard his voice. She looked at him and tears threatened to spill. She bit her inner cheeks as she puts Winter down to run to his father, Draco.

"Love? Are you okay...do you feel sick?" He asked, a bit worried. Y/n disagrees with him and smiled

"I'm just happy" she simply said resting her forehead to his shoulders. Draco smiled at her and kissed her forehead as they headed towards the living room.

Y/n was surely confused about the sudden change on her environment, but she also doesn't want this to go away as she finally have her wish.

To be with Draco and to have their little family whole. Y/n rested her head on Draco's shoulders, as they both watch Winter and Scorpius, his hands crept its way on her waist as they sat on the couch

"Have you remembered our first date?" Draco suddenly asked, she giggled softly and looked at him as her eyes are filled with happiness.

"Yeah...I even remembered, that you said you wanted to be sky...How about now love? Are you still my sky?" He nodded at her and kissed her lips and rested his forehead to hers.

"I will always be your sky" She smiled at him but something is lingering around her presence that made her feel uneasy.

The next day, Winter got a high fever out of no where. Y/n was worried and confused on how she got fever

"Her temperature isn't going down...do you think someone is cursing us?" Y/n ask worriedly as Winter clings into her arms, wincing about her fever

"That's rubbish! Maybe it's a common cold love...Don't worry it will go away" He said, reassuring her. He left them for a minute to check in Scorpius, as Y/n hummed and caressed her daughter's hair.

"Mama?" She called with a very hoarse voice, Y/n smiled at her and kissed her forehead

"Yes sweetie?" Winter looked at her and brought her a necklace that she made. It was a weird necklace, it was made out of flowers and twigs yet for Y/n it's beautiful.

"Can you promise me one thing?"

"Of course baby...even if you asked me thousands of it"

"Please don't cry when something bad happens. Nana Mikan and Papa Endy was sad when they saw you crying. They wanted you to be strong...Nana Mikan said she is going to take very good care of me in here"

"Winter...what are you talking about?" Y/n asked suspiciously as fear arise inside her body. Winter smiled at her

"Nana Mikan said, she was sorry that she couldn't live with you like she did. And Papa Endy said, don't be sad. They also said that, they love you and Uncle Lucas very much and they would always be there at your side. I even heard you and Papa weeping when I lost my season inside your tummy, Mama. Don't worry, Winter will be very happy with Nana Mikan and Papa Endy. I love you ver much Mama, please tell Papa so come visit me again, I miss you"

Everything around Y/n started to fall into darkness as she cried out for Winter and for Draco. But all around her was covered in darkness. She looked around searching for a way to get out but all she can see is darkness

Y/n!

"Draco?!" She yelled out, she kept turning and turning, searching for him as his voice started to fade out

"Mama! Wake up!" She then heard Winter's voice. She pinched herself, really hard but no pain traveled to her body. She kept chanting to herself to wake up

"Y/n! Y/n! Wake up!" She opened her eyes, jolted from her bed as she started sweating. She looked around her surroundings and she saw her old bedroom. Lucas and Draco was there, worried for her. It took her minutes to realize that everything she saw was just a dream.

"Love? Are you alright?" Draco asked worriedly, she looked at him and her tears started to form. She jumped to his arms burying her face as she cried. Lucas decided to leave the love birds alone for awhile.

As soon he left, Draco hugged her, kissing her head as he calmed her down.

"I'm here love...what's wrong tell me" Y/n doesn't know what to say, but she knows how she longed for his presence.

"Winter...she...she appeared on my dream" she mumbled, wiping her tears away

"She did?"
