You betrayed me...

Third Person's POV

Months passed by and Lucius was feeling guilty keeping Draco's secret. He leaned on his seat, staring at the fire as the rain poured down.

"You are stalling my dear" Narcissa spoke softly, didn't even bothered to look up from her novel. Lucius glanced at her and chuckles softly

"Just admiring the rain"

"Lucius, we've been married for years, I know you so well. I know you are thinking deeply when you are stalling, so tell me what is bothering you" Lucius looked at her, he sighed and his gaze went back to the fire

"I was just wondering...will you forgive me if I did something bad? Or if I sinned?" 

That question made Narcissa look up from her novel. She looked at Lucius in suspicion and confusion. She closed her book and spoke

"Lucius, you know you will get burned if you play with fire. You vowed Lucius, you made a promise to me that we will turn our back away. So what are you trying to say?"

But instead of answering her. he shrugged and passed her a small smile. Narcissa sighed and approached him, and touched his shoulders. His hand made its way on her hand and he held his wife's hand. For a moment, Lucius felt Narcissa's unconditional love for him

He stood up and cupped her cheeks, admiring Narcissa's beauty under the cold and rainy night with fire, lighting up the room

"Nothing, I just want to know. I love you, my dear wife. I want you to remember that" Lucius spoke and kissed his wife's hand. Narcissa chuckles softly and hugged him. He hugged her back and fought back his tears knowing that if he fucked up, Narcissa won't hesitate to leave him.

But what he didn't know is Narcissa using her legilimens on him. She gasped as soon she saw the conversation between him and Draco. And all the other things. He pushed Lucius and stared at him, with eyes filled with tears, anger, and resentment

Other than that, she also saw Lucius using dark magic once again

"You...you betrayed me"

"Narcissa, dar--"

"You do not get to call me that Lucius! You lied to me! You kept a have secret! Why didn't you tell me that my boy! My only son is still sick? And how could you still use dark magic on him?!"

"Narcissa, please tone it down. Y/n doesn't know. And I only did what my son asked me to"

"Tone it down? I am angry Lucius! Mad! You betrayed me and that is much worse than cheating on me"

"I only did it because it's the only way!" Narcissa looked at him, with tears streaming down on her face. She chuckles softly and said

"I am a fool on trusting you again Lucius. I am such a fool. You broke my trust. 10 months have passed by and you had the gut to hide it from me, from your family. I will only say this one time--pack your things, and get out of my house" 

"Narcissa, please darl--"

"Leave me and my family alone Lucius! Get out, get out of my house!" Narcissa yelled, punching Lucius' chest. The only thing he could do is to nod and leave her alone. He knew Narcissa's words are true. 

But before he could leave her alone. he turned around and spoke

"I only did this because I can no longer bear to see you in pain, in agony. Because that how unconditional my love is for you" Narcissa sobbed on the floor as she listened to him

She wanted to say it's okay but she was too hurt, to forgive him.

"What?" Y/n spoke softly to Narcissa, she was stunned to process everything. She looked at Narcissa with teary eyes and said

"So for the past 10 months, Draco wasn't feeling better, and they hid it from us?" Narcissa nodded at her, Y/n looked down on her hands and let her tears stream down. She took a deep breath and looked at Narcissa

"Please look after Scorpius. I want to talk to Draco"

"Y/n, please don't. It will only lead to a fight"

"But you said fighting is good. And I promise, it will be fine" She replied and gave her son a kiss on his forehead before heading back to their room.

Each step she take, she felt a heavy pressure on her shoulder and she couldn't stop herself from crying. As soon she reaches their room. She took a deep breath, and wiped her tears, she turned the knob and saw Draco looking outside as he was resting

He heard the door open, and he took his gaze towards the door. He was surprised to see Y/n crying so he stood up from their bed and approached her. He was about to ask her but she hugged him, burying her face on his chest

"Please...let me help you Draco. I want you to feel better, I want you to live your life with me till the end. Please Draco"

Draco was shocked to hear her pleads and he knew that she knows it already. He couldn't blame anyone cause he knows that one day the truth will come out

"I'm sorry for keeping it as a secret from you again" Draco mumbled and hugged her. He kissed her head and gently rubbed her back
