The song at the top is what inspired me to write this. (Also this has my oc in it) Btw they're like, 13 in this.

Jason sighed as the music played, he was at a ball being hosted by the Tea Timers at their mansion, and the only friend he had there was Adele, the girl he actually made friends with. "Hey, Jason. How do you spell appetite again? I kinda forgot"Adele asked her friend turning her head to Jason. But Jason didn't reply he was lost in his own thoughts. Adele did an annoyed look at the long wait for an answer and looked up from her phone.

She saw Jason deep in thought, "Jason! Jason the Junior Forest Scout!"Adele shouted to get Jason's attention back. "Huh? Oh sorry Adele. I uh...Must have zoned out..."Jason said, "W-What were you saying again?".

Adele sighed and repeated herself, Jason calmly spelled out the word for his friend as she typed in every letter on her phone. "Thanks"Adele mumbled setting her forearm on the counter table and scrolled through her phone as the other creek kids did their talking, dancing and whatever they did at parties. But finally the door opened for a new comer and immediately, Jason almost drop dead in shock.

"I think I just had a stroke..."

Jason mumbled as his heartbeat fasten due to the sharp feeling of surprise. "Jason? Jason? Hey!"Adele snapped her fingers in front of Jason's face to get him to concentrate again, but it didn't work. "Jason it was just Craig that entered! Why did you zone out all of a sudden?!"Adele quietly scolded to her oblivious friend. Adele turned and saw that Craig was about to walk by her and Jason both. Adele did a panicked look and tried to make Jason look more, 'normal' to Craig. "Oh hey, Adele and Jason. I didn't expect you two to come to the Tea Timers party"Craig said, "Uh...Y-Yeah. We originally weren't gonna but we thought we would go, right Jason?"Adele said with her arm wrapped around Jason trying to make him look like nothing was wrong. But Jason gave no answer. He was busy staring into Craig's brown eyes with his cheeks burning up with blush.

Adele did an annoyed look that Jason wasn't giving a response so she made his head do a nod. "Craig watch out!"Stacks shouted from afar. Craig turned around and saw a book was coming at the back of his head, Craig quickly ducked down, but as for Jason. The book hit roughly at his nose, causing his nose to bleed and get all over Craig's new shoes.

"Ah!"Adele screamed in panic searching for a tissue. Luckily George handed one over to her, Adele quickly tried to clean up the blood from running down Jason's nose. "Ah man my shoes...But is Jas-"Craig said examining the blood on his shoes. Jason did an embarrassed look and lowered his head, "Uh...Come on, let's get you cleaned up..."Adele said helping Jason to the bathroom to clean himself up. "Sorry Jason!"Stacks shouted to Jason as Craig slipped into a spare pair of shoes he packed.

Jason did an angry groan and washed the blood off his nose as Adele waited for him outside the bathroom. "I can't believe I made a fool of myself in front of Craig..."Jason scolded to himself while wiping some blood off his nose, Jason sighed hoping Craig wasn't mad at him for ruining his new shoes, and walked out the bathroom. "You okay?"Adele asked putting her arm around Jason and walked back to the counter. "No...Craig is gonna be so mad..."Jason said with his head lowered, not knowing almost everyone was staring at him due to the incident.

Adele rolled her eyes in disagreement, "Jason, that's ridiculous! I'm sure Craig will understand and forgive you. You can just apologise to him and besides Craig is a chill dude, he'll understand it was all an ancient"Adele said patting Jason on the back.

Jason rolled his eyes and sat back down, Jason whipped out his phone and started scrolling through it. Adele sighed and ordered George to get her a cherry cola to drink, "Hey Jason, you want anything to drink?"Adele asked, "No thanks..."Jason sighed hiding his face a little. George nodded and got the drink for Adele. Then suddenly, the lights went out slightly and Jane's romance playlist turned on, "Alright everyone! Get yourself a partner, it's time for a slow dance!"Jane announced.

Jason's heart raced more at that sentence, a slow dance? Where was he gonna get a partner. "Slow dance? Think I'm gonna skip out on that. I'm not really into that stuff, what about you Jason?"Adele asked sipping her drink, "S-Slow dance?"Jason stuttered with his cheeks reddening in surprise.

"Hey, Jason, I was thinking. Mind slow dancing with me?"

Jason froze up at the person who asked him, Craig Williams. "Y-You want me to dance w-with you?"Jason stuttered feeling his heart go so fast he was hoping it wouldn't jump out his chest. Craig smiled and nodded, Jason nodded in return and let Craig sway him to the dance floor.

The dance felt simple, it was romantic, calming and was something you didn't see everyday. "Not surprised"Adele commented getting out a magazine to read while everyone else slow danced. Jason couldn't even find the correct words to describe this moment, he would have never imagined it but he wanted and desired it. "This is nice, I say, I didn't expect you to be such a good dancer"Craig commented while dancing with his former rival. "You're a good one yourself, Craig"Jason said resting his head on Craig's chest.

"This is just, nice..."Jason romantically sighed, "You wanna know what else is nice?"Craig asked cupping Jason's face so Jason would look him in the eye. "What?"Jason asked. Craig smirked and kissed Jason on the lips. The kiss of course took Jason off guard but he tried to keep himself together ignoring his heartbeat going off the charts once again.

Time Skip

"I kissed, Craig Williams..."Jason said in surprise once the slow dance was done, Adele sighed feeling proud of her friend. "Told ya he wasn't mad"Adele joked and drank her drink. But of course, after the slow dance Jason was so shocked by the kiss Adele had to actually help him back to his seat. As Jason was in his dumbfounded state, Craig winked to Jason as he passed by.
