Btw this'll be based off of the fictional disease, Hanahaki disease. So if you don't like that, this story is not for you, sorry. Also this'll be pretty angsty, and this is my first time writing Hanahaki disease, so sorry if this isn't the best. Guys bare with me here.

Prologue

"This can't be happening..."

Jason thought feeling the sharp pain of rhododendron petals leaving his body, he cringed as he vomitted out the petals. Why must it have been his favorite flowers he was vomitting? "Stop this pain...It hurts..."Jason thought to himself still vomitting out the petals. And why was this happening to this scout? Why was he facing such pain? What were the, roots, to this? It was blossomed when someone couldn't get their love badge, or atleast that was what Jason was thinking.

A few moments ago

Craigs POV:I rode on Cheesesticks back with Wildernessa, after we got stranded back in winter. We have been on neutral terms, so you could say okay terms. "Hang on tight, Craig!"Vanessa called out right before Cheesesticks hopped over a hill but ended up landing in an unnoticed puddle instead. Me and Wildernessa got pretty wet, hopefully we dry up pretty soon...

Jasons POV:I sighed seeing Craig hang out with Wildernessa, it had been sometime since capture the flag. And I don't know if Craig loves me the way I do to him. He's gotten on pretty good terms with Wildernessa and you could say, better terms with me...But was it because he felt like he had to so he could save the creek? Was he just pushing me aside?

"Sir!"Tony called out, "H-huh?"I said sounding kinda sick, I don't know why I've been feeling so sick...Once when I was home alone I've felt hallucinations but it wasn't a big deal, right?

"Is leader okay?"Boris asked, "I-I'm fine...Really, it's nothing..."I said, I didn't wanna stress out Tony and Boris, but Tony wasn't really buying it and stood on his tippy toes then put his hand on my forehead. "Ow! Sir, you're burning up...-"Tony tried to whisper, "Tony, I can take care of myself...Don't worry about me"I said putting my index finger on Tonys lips.

A few moments later, me and the other scouts walked to the trading tree. Luckily after sometime Kit was able to return, Boris and Tony wanted some choco rolls. But I wasn't really in the mood for them, "Three choco rolls please"Tony said standing on his tippy toes with a fistful of candy for Kit. Kit did a pleased look at the offer, "Uh...Make that two choco rolls...I'm not really in the mood"I corrected. Lately my appetite has been awful, food was the first thing I would push away. I tried to make myself eat but it wasn't working out, it got to the point I had to trick my parents into thinking I was eating, I was surprised they weren't figuring it out because I've became so thin overtime.

Boris and Tony got their choco rolls, but as we were walking I bumped into Craig, oh no...My cheeks were reddening so much they burned... "Hey, Jason. Sorry about bumping into you"Craig said, "Uh...N-no...It's my fault...You don't need to apologize for something that isn't your fault..."I said, "Okay, well see you later, Jason"Craig said walking off to the trading tree. I did a quiet love sigh and continued to walk with Tony and Boris but when I looked back at Craig, I saw Vanessa walk up to Craig, blushing. Wait, does she love Craig too?

I shook my head only to see it was just my 'imagination' going wild. Hope this stops...Ugh...When did it get so cold? "You okay?"Tony asked, "Just swell..."I said shivering, wait, isn't it supposed to be summer?

Time Skip

I got home when the dinner horn went off, I started a cough when I shut the door, don't tell me I have a cough...I sighed thinking of Craig, god did I love the boy...I just wish it wasn't so hard to get him to love me. I walked to my bedroom and buried myself with the blanket, I don't get it...It was summer it was hotter now why was I so cold?!
