"omg..."

Is all you could say in your head, your side of the creek was just involved in a capture the flag war. And you just couldn't believe the results, Craig had won Capture the flag, at first people thought he was the new king of the creek, but Craig denied the role thinking the creek should be a place with no order and everyone should be free to do what they want.

And there stood next to you was Maya, The Kings former BFF. Aka your crush, it felt obvious that Maya liked you back, she would always blush madly when around you. You knew her biggest regret was backstabbing Omar, you couldn't help but smile at everyone's happiness knowing they were free, "lets just go..."Maya sighed grabbing into your hand, despite the current moment you couldn't help but blush madly at Maya holding your hand. You did one last look at the other kids cheering then went with Maya, and all she left was her old tan coloured hood on a tree.

But while Maya took you aside, you saw Omar happily take off his green poncho thinking that him and Maya don't have to be mad at each other anymore and could actually start over, but his happiness faded seeing that Maya was gone.

"I can't go back, (Y/N)..."Maya began once the two of you were alone, "Why?"You asked, "I can't show my face at the creek again...I don't deserve Omars friendship...I backstabbed him after so many years of friendship, and I threw it away for that stupid King Xavier..."Maya sighed.

Sometimes Maya would come and talk to you about how much she regretted being mean to the other kids at the creek and how she doesn't want to be like Xavier. But now, Maya thinks she doesn't deserve Omar's friendship and probably left him with a million questions on what will happen between them now.

"Maya, didn't you want Omar's friendship back? Maya there were so many things Omar wanted to do besides being mad at you...Maybe after sometime I can help you get back with Omar and win back his friendship"You smiled, "I miss when we were friends and would always hang out with each other..."Maya sighed.

"You must really care about him huh?"You sighed blushing, "Almost as much as you..."Maya smiled blushing, "Thank you (Y/N)..."Maya sighed then kissed your cheek. You blushed even more than her then kissed her cheek like she did to you. "You're welcome, Maya. I'm sure Omar will be happy seeing you again after sometime"You smiled, "Yeah, I-I'm sure he will..."Maya said holding your hand.
