You decided to head down to the docks. Something about the water calmed you and you figured it couldn't hurt to spend some time relaxing. As you jogged through the streets many of the anthros that were out and about looked toward you with warm smiles and greetings, all of which you returned. You had to admit, hit was a far cry from the greeting you got on the first night you arrived. Then again, the feel of the entire town was different. Silvia's town carried a feeling of forced order. It didn't seem like the populace as a whole was unhappy, but you could tell there was just a general fear of angering the mayor. But here, even the police had a genuine aura about them, you could tell that they really wanted to help and protect the citizens.

You made your way to the river with easy. There were plenty of anthros working on boats and fishing. Which you found odd. You knew there were anthro sharks and had seen a couple of dolphins, but the fish in this world were just... fish. Nothing unusual about them. You even recognized some of the species of fish that were being unloaded. While you found that somewhat odd and bazaar, you couldn't help but think of Mako as you stared at the surface of the water. You found a sizeable rock to sit on near the water on a gravel bank a little ways away from the busy docks. You watched the ripples of the water as your mind drifted to the friends that you hadn't seen since you left. A lot of them were here in this city thanks to Malcolm. But, Mako wasn't among them and neither was Russel. You hoped that they were doing well, though somewhere in the back of your mind you couldn't help but wonder somewhere in the back of your mind you couldn't help but dread that Silvia had somehow figured out that they were helping you. If she had found out, the odds of her cutting her loses and moving on with life were pretty slim. In fact, you were betting that she'd do the exact opposite. You also began to wonder what had happened to Hunter and Annika's family.

You were deep in thought when a shadow fell over you. You didn't notice right away, but quickly became aware that you weren't alone when an innocent sounding voice called out behind you.

"Hi!"

You nearly jumped out of your skin. Your heart began pounding and your breath became shallow. You could feel your hairs on the back of your neck stand up as you felt waves of chills running across your body. You had been thoroughly jump scared. You found yourself staring at a fox bat anthro. The first hybrid you'd ever seen. She was dressed in blue jeans and a faded green short sleeved shirt. Her amber eyes gazed down upon you with curiosity and amusement.

"Sorry! Didn't mean to startle you!" She laughed.

"Um... that's okay," You replied, "But, who are you?"

"Oh! How rude of me!" The woman replied, "Let's just say I'm someone who admires you for now. By the way, I didn't catch your name."

You shot the strange Foxbat a skeptical glance, "No, you didn't..."

"How shrewd," She replied with a sly smile.

"At any rate, it's been fun chatting with you but I think I should be going," You continued in an effort to politely excuse yourself. You weren't sure who she was, but she had the body of a supermodel. And her physique seemed very well suited for the strength and agility. Not to mention her wings, you weren't sure if she could actually fly. But if she could, she was literally the very thing that you'd been trying to avoid. An anthro capable of attacking from virtually any terrain, with the exception of water of course. And given that she wasn't all that eager to tell you who she was left you with the nagging feeling that she wasn't just here to say 'hello'.

"Well, it was nice chatting but I have to-"

"Hang on a sec, why don't you stick around for a bit longer? Is there somewhere you have to be?"

"There is actually, and I'm really late as it is. So if you could just excuse me..." With that you turned to leave.

"Oh!" The woman said as she snapped her fingers, "That's right! You're supposed to be with Kara and her sister!"

You froze in your tracks and turned to face her, "How did you know that?"

"Of course, then again it can't be that important to you if you've been staring at the water here instead of spending time with them there," She continued, pretending as though she were actually reasoning on the scenario.

"Who are you?" You asked.

"They seem to care for you a lot don't they... but not as much as Luna does. Of course Tanya cares for you too. And then there's Annika and Hunter, somehow you've found your way into all of there hearts. Such wonderful bonds you've made."

"Who are you!?" You demanded forcefully as you fully turned around to face the Foxbat.

"Hey, do you think they think about you during there days?" She asked. She then smacked herself with an open palm on her forehead, "What kind of question is that?" She laughed, "Of course they do! And I'm sure you think about them, and worry too. Right? After all..." A devious smile crept across the woman's face as she looked down on you, "It would be terrible if something tragic were to happen to any of them."

"What did you do!" You roared as you started to run at her.

She leapt up into the air, opening her wings as she did so. She hovered well beyond your reach and grinned down at you, "Me? I haven't done anything yet."

"What do you want from me!" You demanded.

"I already told you," She replied, "I wanted to meet you. I want to get to know you."

"Fine."

"Good!" She said, her eyes lighting up as she answered with glee. Just as quickly as the luster came to her eyes, it faded. Her smile disappeared and she became serious, "But not here. I don't like this place. Let's go somewhere that suits me." She landed before you once more and knelt down, "Get on."

You stared back at her incredulously, "What?"

"Climb on my back and wrap your arms around my neck. We're going somewhere where I feel... comfortable."

"If I go with you, do I have you're word that you won't harm my friends?"

"First of all, you're in no position to make me guarantee anything, second; if you don't come with me, what do you think will happen?"

You sighed and did what the Foxbat demanded of you, "I really hope I'm doing the right thing," You muttered as you reached up and wrapped your arms around her neck.

"Make sure that you have a good grip, or the I might be the last thing you ever hold on to," The hybrid warned.

"That wasn't very reassuring," You grunted.

"It wasn't meant to be," She replied as she turned her head so that she could see you with her left eye, "It's a simple fact of the matter." With that, she boulted up from her crouched position and launched herself into the sky.

It didn't take long for her to reach an altitude that she could glide at. She effortlessly soared above the city, and for a moment you were in awe. That moment quickly faded however when you remembered that you were essential being extorted and kidnapped.

You noticed that her body began to shift in angle as she banked to her right. As you looked up ahead you noticed as skyscraper that was under construction. She continued to bank towards it until you could see it between her ears. She glided to it, cloaked in silence. You expected their to be workers giving you strange looks and angry glances as you approached, but to your surprise there wasn't anyone working on the building.

Your captor landed without making a sound. She knelt to the ground allowing you to slide off of her back before turning to face you.

"Well?" You asked, "We're here now, so what do you want?"

She grinned at you, "Silvia Deluma would like to see you."
