When Selina awoke the next morning, she found her room aglow with the rose, lavender, and gold of the morning's sunrise. She rose from her bed and went into her powder room with her favorite white blouse, her long black skirt, and her leather shoes in hand to ready herself for the rest of the day. When she emerged, she went to her dressing table and braided her long midnight black hair so that it fell over her shoulder in a long waist-length braid, then tried the door. After finding it locked, she went to her writing desk, took her violin out of the case, grabbed her sheet music, and went to her music stand in front of her window seat, and began to play a song on her violin. While she was playing, two of Andre's soldiers opened her door and walked into the room. Andre watched from the doorway as they moved towards her, but she did not notice until they grabbed her arms, forcing her to drop her violin, and forced her to the door. While they were attempting to get her to the door, she angrily exclaimed,
"What is the meaning of this!?" Selina began struggling,
"LET ME GO YOU...."
"You're so cute when you're trying to escape Princess." Andre commented smugly. Selina's head snapped up,
"I'll take it from here men," Andre said from the doorway. The soldiers released Selina and she bolted to the door. When she attempted to pass him, Andre grabbed her wrist and pulled her towards him. Securing his hand firmly on her waist, he urged her forward down the hallway and towards the dining hall saying,
"Good morning Princess. Did you sleep well?" Selina looked up at him,(he was slightly taller at 5'9" to her 5'8") looked away, and said nothing. After a few moments of silence, he stopped in the middle of the hallway, grasped her shoulders, gave her a rough shake, and angrily said,
"When I ask a question, I EXPECT an answer DAMN YOU!"
"OW! You are hurting me! Let go!" Selina began to struggle against his grasp,
"Answer me then!"
"Yes! I slept well. Now, will you let me go?" Satisfied with her answer, he released her shoulders and repositioned his hand at her waist. Then they continued down the hallway and into the dining hall. Once in the dining hall, Andre guided her to a seat at the head of the table, had her sit, then sat down in the chair next to her.
"Pardon me sir, but might I ask..."
"Call me Andre please, Princess."
"Then if I am to call you Andre, please address me as Selina, or Lady Selina. Not Princess."
"Alright, Selina. What were you saying?"
"I was going to ask..."
"Breakfast Ma'am?"
"Oh, yes thank you." Selina looked up at the server and smiled gently.
