I shuffle on the pew, each movement uncomfortable as I keep shifting my weight. As I move, I felt the tender bruises and cuts on my face ache a bit. I wince as I open my eyes and sit up, stretching my arms.
"Well, someone's awake now!" I hear Sarvente's voice echo as I rub my eyes open. As my vision clears, she was standing in front of me with her peachy smile.
"Hi, Sarvente," I yawn. "What time is it?"
"Two PM," she replies. "How's your cold? Feeling a little better?"
"Honestly, I still feel drowsy, but I don't feel anymore chills," I sigh in relief.
"That's good. You hungry?" she asks.
"Nope," I shake my head.
"Fine then. While you were asleep, I was thinking of some activities that we could do once you wake up," says Sarvente. "And I was thinking... how about doing a kahoot? All three of us?"
"A kahoot?" I ask. I then smile. "Sure." I slowly sit up straight.
"Alright. I need to go set up the laptop and TV. Come into the home!" says Sarvente cheerfully as she marches her way to the room. I plant my feet on the ground and stand up. Suddenly, my legs start to wobble.
"Ah!" I yelp as I lose my balance. I began to fall forward when...
"Careful... your legs are still weak."
I quickly look up to see Ruv, looking down at me with a slightly annoyed expression. He then helps me stand upright.
"Thank you," I huff tiredly. Without responding, Ruv placed his hand on my shoulder and pulls me with him toward the hidden home.
"I don't want you banging your head anymore... you're roughed up enough," he sighs tiredly as we enter the doorway. He then lets go of my shoulder and walks off into another room. I look forward, seeing Sarvente plug a laptop into the living room TV.
"(Your Name)!" she yells excitedly. "Come sit down!" I wobbly make my way to the couch and sit down, pulling out my phone and opening kahoot. As Sarvente turned her attention back to the laptop, Ruv stomps back into the room with his phone and sits down far away from me. He then glances toward me and swiftly grabs his ushanka off my head. I jump a bit.
"I'll take this back," he mutters, plopping the hat back on his head, tucking all of his hair inside. I shrug it off. I've been wearing his clothes for a bit too long already. Besides, I didn't feel too cold anymore.
"Alrighty! I finally set it up!" Sarvente squeals happily. She grabs her phone and scrolls through the kahoot page. "What topic should we do? Just plain trivia?"
"Sure," I answer for her. She selects a random kahoot and sits down between me and Ruv. Suddenly, she stands up.
"You know what? Stand up. Both of you. We had enough sitting and laying around for today," she grins in a motherly way. Ruv and I stand up and clutch our phones to ourselves. Then, the game pin shows up on screen. We enter it and type in our nicknames. This was the nicknames shown on screen:
Sarvente: Holy Guacamole
Ruv: -.-
Me: (Your Nickname)
After five seconds, the start button was clicked.
"Okay, it started!" Sarvente says happily.
(And here is more art from me!)
