The elevator seemed too fall four hours as I clutched onto Steve for dear life. Everyone around me screaming bloody murder while trying to keep ourselves stable.

"Shit!" I shout, clutching onto Steve. "Shit!"

"We're going down!" Steve panicked, gripping my waist tighter than before. "We're going down!"

"Yeah, no shit, Harrington!" Robin retorted, gripping the shelves behind her, tightly.

"Why won't these buttons work!" Dustin cried, rapidly slapping each button multiple times.

"Press the button!" Erica demanded.

"What do you think i'm doing?!"

"Just press the button!" Steve shouted, his face turning red from the stress.

"Push harder!" I shout, not once letting go of Steve.

Suddenly, the elevator came to a halt, causing all of us to fall in different directions. Steve and I landed in a corner, my body falling on top of his as his head hits the ground as a box falls on top both of us.

"My groin." Steve winced, trying to lift the box off of us. "It fell on my groin. Dustin!"

"Get this off of us." I say, trying to lift myself up to see if the box would fall over.

"I can't move."

Dustin slowly made his way over, picking up the box and causing me to roll of of Steve, slowly standing up, sighing in relief that the fall was over.

"Is everyone okay?" Robin asks, clutching her head.

"Yeah," Steve shouted, getting up and making his way over to the keypad. "i'm great now that I know that Russians can't design elevators!"

"I think we've clearly established that those buttons don't work." Robin said.

"Their buttons." Steve spat. "They have to do something."

"Yeah," I sigh, making my way over to the little group. "If we had a keycard."

"A What?" Steve pants, looking at me.

"It's an electronic lock." I shrug. "Same as the loading dock door. If we don't have a keycard, it won't operate, meaning—"

"We're stuck here." Dustin concluded my sentence.

"Yeah." I say, leaning against the wall next to Steve.

"Just so you nerds are aware," Erica pipes up, causing me to roll my eyes. "I'm supposed to be spending the night at Tina's, and Tina always covers for me. But if i'm not home for Uncle Jack's party tomorrow and my mom find out you four are responsible, she's going to hunt you down, one by one, and slit your throat."

"I don't care about Tina!" Steve shouted, making me a bit glad I didn't have to do it. "Or Uncle Jack's party! Your mom's not going to be able to find us if we're dead in a Russian elevator!"

Erica looks at Robin and I only to get a nod in response from both of us, knowing Steve was right.

"Hey," Dustin said, pointing up to the ceiling at a small door. "What if we climbed out.

Dustin climbed on top of Steve's shoulders, Robin and Steve pushing him up further using his feet. I went next, climbing next to Dustin L, I look up seeing we dropped way too far down to climb.

"What we're you saying about climbing?"

Leaning my head against the wall, I look around at everyone asleep. Robin using Erica's my Little Pony backpack as a pillow as Erica uses Robins back to try and relax. Dustin had his head rested on his arm that was extended out in front of him, light snores coming out of his parted lips.
