"Are you seriously doing this right now?"

"It has to get done," Dustin shrugged, staring at his grades, a D at the bottom of the computer screen. "I have to pass this class."

"You could have asked me for help." I said, pacing around Dustin's room. "I already took the class."

"I didn't wanna bother your sulking over your breakup with Steve." He deadpanned.

"I wasn't...sulking. We just thought it would be better not to be in a relationship right now." I sighed, plopping on the bed. "That doesn't matter right now. Can you at least hurry this up so we're not late?"

"Fine." He rolled his eyes, clicking the radio back on. "Did you get it?"

"That's a negative, Dustybun." Suzie sighs from the other end of the line, a giggle escaping my mouth before Dustin turned around to kick my leg.

"Damn," I whispered. "When did you become so aggressive."

"Son of a bitch." He mutters, rolling his eyes, he clicked on the radio again. "Try "Tigers86."

"Tigers86" Copy that." Suzie affirms, typing away. "Jiminy Crickets, Dusty. I'm in."

"Holy shit." Dustin and I said at the same time, a wide smile forming on his face.

A loud knock caused us both to jump and Dustin to almost fall out of his seat.

"Kids what's going on in there?" Our mom says from the other side of the door, concern lacing her voice. "You're going to be late."

"Don't come in!" Dustin shouted. "I'm naked!"

"No, no!" I say, cutting of Dustin while shooting him a glare. "He's not naked. He's just showing me something he did in Hellfire last week."

"Y-Yeah." Dustin said. "Super cool Hellfire stuff."

"Okay." Our mom says, her footsteps retracting down the hall.

"Naked?" I say, raising my eyebrows. "Really?"

Rolling his eyes, he clicks on the radio. "I'm running out of time here."

"Just hold your horsies, Dustybun." Suzie says.

Rolling his eyes, he clicks on the radio once more. "Do you see it?"

"Yeah." Suzie says. "I see it. Yikes, Dusty."

"Yeah." Dustin huffed, twirling his pencil around his fingers.

"I will repent later." Suzie sighs as I hear a click come from the other side of the line. "It's fixed. Now you have an A in Latin."

"Thank you!" Dustin exclaimed. "I love you so much, Suzie-poo!"

"No," She giggles "I love you!"

"No, I love you more!"

"Well," Suzie says as I roll my eyes. "I love you to th-"

Clicking off the radio, I lean against the table and glare at Dustin, a mortified look on his face.

"You have thirty seconds to get ready and be on your bike or so help me Dustin Henderson-"

"Okay!" He shouts. "Ill be out in ten seconds."

Nodding, I grab my backpack from my room and make my way into the garage seeing Dustin already standing there unlocking our bikes.

"What the-"

"You're late, Henderson." He says, raising his eyebrows with a smirk.

Rolling my eyes, I hop on my bike alongside Dustin as we petal our way quickly to school. The wind blew in our hair as we raced down the street, finally making our way into the parking lot.
