Leaning back into the leather seat, I let the cool summer wind blow lightly in my face as Steve's hand was placed on my thigh, rubbing small circles as the music was lightly playing on the radio, making our way further down the road, it being clear since it was so late at night.

"Jesus," Steve sighs, his fingers lightly tapping against the steering wheel. "how far is this place, man?"

"Relax," Dustin retorted, shaking his head. "we're almost there."

"Suzie must be pretty special, huh?" Robin asks a smirk on her face as she nudged Dustin slightly. "I mean, if you built this thing and lugged it all the way to the middle of nowhere just to talk to her."

"I mean," Dustin brags, a small smile growing on his face as he shrugs his shoulders. "nobody's scientifically perfect, but Suzie's about as close to being perfect as any human could possibly be."

"She sound made-up to me." Erica says, turning her attention over to me as she leans forward. "She sound made-up to you two?"

"I think she's real." I shrug, looking in the rear view mirror to see Dustin smiling wildly at my response.

"Steve?" Erica says, focusing her full attention onto him, raising an eyebrow. "What do you think?"

Steve paused, looking down at me for an answer, simply shrugging in response as he stumbles for an answer.

"Why are you hesitating, Steve?" Dustin asks, narrowing his eyes at his best friend.

"I'm—i'm— i'm not!" Steve cried a slight stutter in his response, causing Dustin to flinch lightly. "I'm not! I think she sounds real. You know, totally, absolutely real."

"Left." Dustin says after all of us go silent for a bit. "Turn left."

"There's not a road here." Steve snaps at my little brother, removing his hand from my thigh and placing both hands onto the wheel.

"Turn left now!" Dustin demanded.

"Jesus!" Steve cries as he whips the car left. "Hang on!"

Swinging to the side from the impact, I grab the side of the door as we make our way up a grassy hill.

"Woah! Henderson," Steve cries, gripping the wheel tightly. "where are we going?!"

"Up!" Dustin cries, gripping Steve's shoulder for support.

"Woah." I mumble as I reach my other hand over to grip the consul, trying to steady myself.

"Oh, Jesus!" Steve cries as the car makes its way further up the hill.

"We're not gonna make it!" Robin cries, tightly gripping onto the car.

"Yes, we are." Steve reassured, pressing his foot down on the break harder, trying to get the car to move faster. "Come on, baby. Come on, baby!"

The engine began straining as the car slowed down in the middle of the hill.

"Come on." Steve grunts, slamming his hands against the wheel a couple of times. "Come on."

"Guess the Toddfather has its limitations." I shrug as Steve rolls his eyes, yanking the keys out  of the ignition.

As the engine shuts off, we climb our way up the rest of the hill, Steve grumbling about how he wanted to continue driving the car as we continue making our way to the top of the hill.

The night was clear as we hit Cerebro, the bright red light at the top guiding us as I went over to turn it on.

"All right," I sigh, squatting down next to Dustin once I finish. "let's call Murray."
