Jiang Wanyin had always thought he has known his brother at his worst, clearly he was mistaken. Because the person in front of him was way beyond worst.
The world has known and seen the Yilling Patriarch raging at his peak during the battle at Nevernight, clearly that was just a peek.
Because now, Jiang Wanyin could feel the man boiling in rage; the only thing reigning his anger in being at the other side of the door he was pacing in front of.

It all started last night. Let's go back a little bit to know what:
*******FLASHBACK:*****************

The Lotus Pier was silent, with guard disciples patrolling the boundaries.
Since it was summer, Jiang Wanyin had thought of strolling along the waterway spread throughout Lotus Pier. The sky was clear and a soft breeze was flowing, making the wind chimes clatter; perfect for anyone to relax.
Just what Jiang Cheng had thought of doing after laying awake in his bed for some time. That is, until he saw a glow on the wooden floor and looked up to see a purple lotus blooming and stopped. That signal....and just like that, the calm ran away.
Jiang Cheng had never been one to act on impulse when it came to night hunts but right now he could care less. As he ran through the Pier and reached the training area, he found that many of the Jiang and Lan disciples from the backup force were already assembled there.
A smaller lotus, just the size of his palm then floated in front of him. It burst open as soon as it was near him and a voice he had not heard in almost an year said, " Jiang Cheng, Jin Ling and others are injured. Send the back up group to the border forest now! This lotus will guide them. " Wei Wuxian, his adoptive brother whom he thought he had lost after everything which happened had asked for his help and Jin Ling was in danger.
He looked at the disciples present, most of them had never seen the Yilling Patriarch up close and most certainly had never heard his voice in such a anxious tone; the tales of Yilling Patriarch's power and fury were famous but not a single one talked of his normalcy. Which would explain why they were standing there like gaping fishes.
" Get ready. Dispatch the disciples now! Follow this lotus. " Jiang Cheng thundered and the disciples bowed once before taking out their swords and flying away.
He watched them go with a sense of dread and restlessness while hoping that Jin Ling was safe.

**************FLASHBACK ENDS:*******************************
Seven hours ago, Wei Wuxian, the fearsome Yilling Patriarch had arrived at the Lotus Pier with an unconscious and wounded Lan Wangji in his arms. He didn't stop at the gate and the guards were unable to stop the speeding horse from almost smashing the wooden structure if not for the black smoke which opened the gate beforehand. The horse galloped past the gate, turning through the entrance area and coming to a stop in front of a stupefied Jiang disciple. " Call the healer, now ! Chief Cultivator is injured. "
Two disciple rushed to get the healer and inform the sect leaders while another one came forward to help Wei Wuxian in getting the injured cultivator down.
As soon as Wei Wuxian was down, he took Lan Wangji in his arms once again and rushed towards the medical wing. Even after years, he still remembered where everything was as if it was just yesterday when he left.
Reaching the medical wing Wei Wuxian found Lan Xichen and Jiang Wanyin coming towards him.
" Wangji ?" Lan Xichen turned pale as soon as he took one look at the figure in Wuxian's arms while Jiang Cheng just hissed.
Thankfully, the healer arrived at that moment and Lan Wangji was ushered inside and the door closed on the three men's face.
****Now:*******************
" For hell's sake, stop pacing ! Lan Wangji won't get well if you continue to pace, it's causingme a headache." Jiang Cheng complained. Beside him, Lan Xichen just closed his eyes. When Lan Xichen saw his brother in Wei Wuxian's arms, he had turned so pale that for a moment Jiang Cheng wondered whether there was any blood left. The three men had stayed there in front of the room all night, Wei Wuxian  not listening to anyone with a worried Lan Xichen who had been standing there like a statue; seeing the two in such state, Jiang Cheng had resigned himself to spend the night leaning against the pillar nearby or sometimes sitting. It was dawn now and still there was no sign of the healer. Only the assistant junior who was practicing under the healer had come out twice to get something and three other maids carrying buckets of bloodied water, rolls of cloths, herbs, boiled water and some clean robes.
Just then the door in front of them opened revealing an old lady in her mid sixties with impassive features.
Hearing the door open, three heads turned in the direction of the lady, only for her to be blocked by Wei Wuxian.
" How is he ? Is he okay ? Can..can I—we see him ?" The old lady blinked at being bombarded by questions but stood aside in a silent invitation as the answer to the freaking man's questions.
Seeing the way cleared, Wei Wuxian darted inside the room like a lightning only to stop dead in his track just a foot away from the bed.

There on the bed, laid a person with serene features which were enhanced by the filtered moonlight coming through the cross-fenced window. His body was covered till his chest with a blanket while a white cloth wrap could be seen on one shoulder while the rest was covered by the blanket. Even injured and unconscious, the person had a regal beauty to him which was painful for any weak heart to witness.
Sadly, Wei Wuxian was one person with a weak heart. He was brought out of his musings when Lan Xichen stepped inside. He faintly heard Jiang Cheng saying something about waiting outside while Lan Xichen went near the bed.
" Didi..?" Lan Wangji laid motionless, his hands limp in his brother's hold.
" Zewu-Jun. I have given Chief Cultivator a sedative to ease his pains and help him sleep. He cannot hear you."
The healer stepped forward and bowed, informing the two people about the condition of their precious person, "Zewu-Jun..."
Lan Xichen turned to look at the healer, to find her hesitating with her next words. Though her roaming eyes told him her thoughts. " Daifu, whatever it is, just say it here. "
" But...." " No need." Both of them turned to look at the third person who had kneeled beside the foot of the bed and was looking at the sleeping figure even as he spoke, " Zewu-Jun, Liu Daifu, if you wish to discuss Lan Zhan's health in private then I can go." " Master Wei..."
" Zewu-Jun. I will go. I need to talk to Jiang Cheng anyway." With that Wei Wuxian stood up and walked away, leaving behind the other two.

So, just to remind you all— if you don't like something then skip that part or don't read but no reporting because of that. Anyway, can anyone tell me about the tags ? Is it necessary to add a tag to indicate that this thing will be there in the story or do I just add the warning in one of my chapters ?
