Today too fighting girls! 💪 I text that to my group chat with Seungyeon and Yeeun before going to work. Actually, I'm about to go to lunch with Haneul and other producers and writers in the industry. Haneul said it would be good for me too. I think he means I should smooch and kiss our seniors' asses more. Either way, I think he means well for my career.
Seungyeon: Ya let's gather tonight. I have something to say.
Yeeun: Didn't we just gather last week? I want to sleep early. Plus we literally live together

"Haneul-ssi," I call out. Haneul's car door is open and he's standing by it, checking something inside. He pull himself out to look at me, quickly averting his eyes.

"Oh, are you ready?" He asks, looking away and then looking at me again. It almost made me laugh how awkward he's being. "You really prepared for this lunch." He says.
"You said dress to impress. I'm ready to hopefully impress some people." I say. I'm just wearing my usual clothes, actually. Pastel pink blazer, white top, dark blue jeans. I've put on more makeup, not just lip balm this time and well, I curled my short hair a little.
Haneul clears his throat. "Fine, let's go. Hyunjin will just meet us there."
I pause for a second. "Cha Hyunjin too?"
He nods. "Of course, I'm betting on you two. My assistant producer and my writer." He says and smiles at me. "Get in the car."

"We only heard good things about you from Haneul but he didn't mention how pretty you are, Writer-nim." Park Soojung, only one of the best drama writers in the industry, tells me. Actually, I've prepared myself to meet people who think they're better than me and would rub it on my face today but Park Soojung is a breath of fresh air despite her mark in the industry. She's smiling at me and I'm kind of fangirling inside. Is this how Yeeun feels when she used to go to those idol fansign events back when we were in high school?
I smile shyly because I really get shy whenever I receive compliments. I just wasn't born to be good at them. "Aigoo, thank you. It's an honor to meet you, sunbaenim."
