Cue music!

"Have you heard?"
"No. What is it?"
"The Sato family is going to transfer us!"
"What? Why?"
"You haven't heard the rumours?"
"What about?"

"Their son! Akira Sato! They're moving him to a different mansion on the end of the city!"
"No way! But that's not so odd, is it? I mean they're wealthy and he is fully grown. But.."

"I know...He's the heir. He can't move away."

I pass the two talking maids, blabbering about my disappearance from this sickening home.

My head only turns their way when the female tells the other women what the reason is.

"They want him out of here! He's crazy!"

The never-ending sounds in this mansion suddenly quiet down. The only thing I hear is her.

Her loud words echo through the busy walls.

The other one's eyes widen as she sees me looking at them. The loud lady hasn't seen me yet. The shorter one pinches her.

"Wha-"

Her eyes pop out as she sees me. Something bothers them. The same thing that bothers everyone who sees me.

My blank face. Numb with no reaction.

I let out a little sigh before I continue walking to the place I should've been at already.

Father's office.

The guard knocks on the door when I arrive. I hear my father's voice scream a: "Come in!"

And that's what I do.

"Father." I say. My voice cold like always.

"Hello, son. Sit down." My father proceeds to sit down while I blankly stare at the leather seat before finally sitting down.

Only now do I see my mother in the corner. My little sister holding her hand tightly.

"Ready to leave?" He asks.

My eyes don't leave my mother's. Tears are making her eyes shiny. Why is she crying?

Why do you care, Akira?

"Yes, father." He claps his hands I delight after hearing my answer. As usual.

"We'll accompany you to the vehicle. Let's discuss the other matters another time."
I gulp and that's it.

My feet lead me to the front of the mansion. Taking in every detail of the place I grew up in.
The place that should be my home.

But with him. Nothing feels like home.

Multiple vehicles, filled with boxes that aren't even mine leave as I arrive. The only thing waiting for me is the black car.

I turn back to my family. Not only to say goodbye to them but also to take in the sight.

Miserable. My life is miserable.

You are miserable.

My father approaches me. Hugging me. A lovely father you may think until you hear his whispers in my ear:

"You must get better, or your spirit will vanish like flower petals in the winter but bloodier."

I fake a smile when he lets me go. My mother lets go of my sister and walks towards me.

The tears she has held in come out of her red eyes. I pity her the most. But I also don't.

She cups my cheeks, rubbing the dark circles underneath my eyes. Trying to make me look like a decent human being again.
