Chapter 10: Stay With Me

I forgot to say in the last chapter that no one got the dedication because no one got the quote. "Swnakified" is from the musical "Wicked" Wicked, people, Wicked!!

Also, there is an author's note at the end! Please read it because it's very, very, very important! it also has something to do with the picture I posted up in the chapter today.

By the way, can you people see them? Apparently there's a problem with the pictures when you post them on Wattpad.

"What's Rose trying to remember?" Cathy asked with a curious tone.

Nahoa shrugged. "I'm not sure what it is. That's the one thing I don't know about that idiot daughter of mine." he grumbled, checking more things on the clipboard.

Everyone laughed then all said their goodbyes to Vector when Nahoa said that they had to leave so the crazed Barian could get some rest.

Vector waved goodbye to them then looked at Nahoa. "So you're really Rose's dad?"

Nahoa nodded then placed the clipboard on the table next to Vector's bed. "It's three in the morning, young man. You should get some sleep now."

Vector nodded and laid down on his bed, closing his eyes. However, the moment he closed his eyes, a splitting image of Rose covered in blood flooded his vision.

His eyes snapped open the moment he saw the image. Nahoa, who was still in the room, saw the trouble in the young boy's eyes. "What's wrong?" He asked, concerned.

The crazed Barian shook his head and simply stated up at the ceiling, unresponsive to the many other questions Nahoa asked him.

At that moment, Rose came in. She was still wearing her pajamas but with a jacket over her XL T-shirt.

Nahoa looked at his daughter and scowled "Woman, I told you not to walk or run barefoot!"

Rose stuck her tongue out like a child. "Woman, I like walking barefoot! Besides, you know how much I hate wearing shoes." Inwardly, Vector couldn't help but laugh on the inside at how they were acting.

"Then where are your slippers?!"

"I was in a rush, Dad! I didn't have time to put them on!"

Her father rolled his eyes then got up and walked to the door. He whispered something in Rose's ear then walked out when she nodded with a grunt. After Nahoa left, there was silence in the room. Awkward silence.

"Soooo... How yah doing?" Rose asked, curling her hair around her index finger.

Vector coughed out what seemed to be a chuckle, earning a concerned glance from Rose. "Well, to be honest, I feel like crap."

"Look like it too." Rose stated, crossing her arms.

"Hey!" Vector said with a mocked hurt expression. He placed a hand on his heart and faked a crying sound. The scarlet haired girl rolled her eyes with a shrug.

She couldn't help but laugh on the inside at the boy before her. Something about him always made her laugh. Strange how they only met a few weeks ago. "Rei, you should get some rest now."

Vector huffed and crossed his arms. "But that's boring!" he complained in a childish manner.

The girl rolled her eyes. "You're not the only one who needs rest, you idiot. It's three in the morning and I have stuff to do tomorrow so I need rest too, yah ding dong."

Vector was taken aback by Rose's tone and felt a small pang of guilt. He frowned then leaned back on the bedpost with a sigh. "I'm sorry. Guess I forgot..."

"Yeah, it's alright." Rose huffed. "I guess I'll be going then. See you later, Rei." she waved him off and walked to the door, but before she could even take a step towards it, Vector grabbed her wrist and pulled her back, which earned him a major headache from the sudden movement.

"Wait!" the crazed Barian said before he could process the words instinctively coming out of his mouth. "Can you stay with me?"

Rose felt a small blush creep up her face, her heartbeat quickening its pace when she felt Vector's hand grab her wrist. "What did you ask me...?"

"I asked if you could stay with me..." the crazed Barian said, blushing slightly.

BUT HEY! I have a BIG announcement to make! Drum Roll, pwease!!! *dramatic drum rolls* Today, on this day, March 14, an awesome woman that goes by the name of Mint and/or Chibi Astral was born.

This day, March 14, also known as pie day (3/14 = 3.14 Pie! Freaking pie!), is Millie_Astral birthday!!! (I wish I had this day as a birthday. I FREAKING LOVE PIE! EVEN MATH PIE!!!)

Everyone say happy birthday to her, flood her message board with hellos, congratulations, anything! Don't just comment them here!

Say it to her personally as a request from me, HG-chan! :3

This woman is awesome and today this awesome woman is turning 15! She's one year younger than me and that is awesome! X3 (Yes, I'm 16 . 3. Get over it)

I don't usually do this-scratch that-I NEVER do this kind of stuff. Why? Because I don't do this kind of over expressive love dovey shit. I'm a REALLY grumpy, short tempered, annoying person in real life. (Strange how I'm so "nice" as so many people claim me to be)

I don't have any friends, not even REAL LIFE friends, that are that close to me that I would do this for! So, Minty, this just shows how much you mean to me!
