Jake: Are- are you sure about this—
Zander: I'm 110% sure. Luke loves dogs so it'll work!
Jake: But this dog is reallyyyy big.
Zander: The bigger, the better! I asked Sean if he knew what Luke would do tonight, and he said that Luke is out camping with his dad. Look, that's their van!
Jake: I'm still not sure about this.
Zander: Shhh, someone's in there. It must be Luke! Come on, we can make the dog go in there by himself and surprise Luke.
Jake thinking: I have a very bad feeling about this...
[a few moments later]
(a scream comes from inside the cab)
Zander: Oh shi—
Jake: I SHOULD HAVE STUCK WITH MY GUTS!!!
Zander: LUKE IS GETTING MAULED BY THE DOG—
Luke: Jake!? Zander!?
Jake: Wait— how are you here!?
Zander: You were inside getting mauled by a dog!
Luke: No! Wait, what!? MY DAD'S IN THERE! OH NO, OH NO—
[a few moments of panicking later, Luke calls an ambulance and his dad is now in that]
A nurse: He'll be fine, don't worry, and... *places her hand on Luke's shoulder* are you in college?
Zander, grabbing Luke's arm and pulling him away from her: No. No, he isn't.
The nurse: *rolls her eyes and leaves*
Luke: *sighs and walks away a little*
Zander: I... it was Jake's idea!
Jake: Wait what!?
Luke: *looks at Zander*
Zander: Okay, fine! It was my idea but I only did it because you've talked about wanting a dog ever since I met you and I thought that if I got you one—
Luke: *kisses Zander*
Zander: ...you love me again.
Luke: Who said I stopped?
Jake: Awww!
Luke and Zander: *looks at him awkwardly*
Jake: And I ruined the moment.
Zander: It's— it's cool, and I really owe you one.
[they smile at each other and then Luke and Zander start kissing again]
Jake: Okay then, I'm just gonna— *points to the opposite direction and leaves*
