"Nooooo!!!" Jisoo screamed as she suddenly sat up from her bed, breathing heavily.

Jisoo automatically reached for her neck to check if it was still attached to her body and to her relief, it was intact. She scanned the room and noticed the familiar scenery. It was the same room when she was still young. The same princess bed she whined to have and the same magnificent furnitures and closets which were personalized only for her.

"My— my lady— Um— Are you— Are you alright?"

Jisoo's head immediately went towards the slightly ajar door and saw her personal maid, Hyeri. She noticed how she trembled when she entered the room and she couldn't help but fidget. Jisoo scanned her from head to toe and noticed her seemingly younger face compared to what she remembered.

"Hyeri?" Jisoo's voice seemed to have changed and she quickly went out of bed and went to the nearest mirror only to find her self being young again, maybe around 14 years old. "Hyeri, how old am I?" Jisoo asked, feeling nostalgic.

"You're fourteen, my lady." Hyeri answered, looking at Jisoo with her confused eyes.

"I came back?" Jisoo whispered to herself.

"Pardon, my lady?" Hyeri repeated, not understanding the young lady at all. "I beg your forgiveness, my lady. But the Madam Kimberhald is asking for you to go have breakfast with them."

Upon hearing her mother's name, Jisoo immediately went out from her room and didn't bother of changing out from her night gown. When the door to the dining room opened, the first thing her eyes saw was her father sitting on the head chair and her mother sitting on the left side of her father. She saw how they looked at her like she was insane.

"What do you think you're doing, Jisoo?" Jimin, who looked the most exasperated scolded. "Are you mad? Why are you still in your night gown? Seriously, you're such a—" Jimin stopped mid sentence when he noticed his twin sister started crying. "What the—"

"Jisoo, dear!" Their mother quickly stood up from her seat and reached out for her daughter.

"What's the matter, Soo?" Jin who looked equally worried, also stood up and went to his sister. "Jimin! Look what you have done to our sister!" Jin scolded towards Jimin who immediately looked baffled.

"What? I didn't do anything wrong!" Jimin defended.

"Hush now!" Their father interjected. "My princess. What's the matter?" He asked, as he scooped his daughter into his arm.

Jisoo could not stop from crying as she had missed this. The loving comfort of her mother, the sweetness of her older brother, the annoying remarks of her twin brother and the pampering of her father. In that moment, Jisoo decided to change her fate and will make sure that she will avoid death no matter what for the sake of her family.

Jisoo was deep in thought as she tried to recollect all the important details in her past life in order to avoid the worst case scenarios. She jolted down all the events she could remember and wished to avoid from happening.

"The first thing to do is to never entangle myself with those guys who loves Irene. And that includes the crown prince, the young duke, the high priest, the magician of the black tower, my escort knight and my brothers." Jisoo stated and then frowned by the long list of names. "Ugh! Seriously though, what did they saw at that woman to be madly in love with her?" Jisoo pouted but then shook her head clear. "No Jisoo! Stop being so villainous!" Jisoo scolded herself. "Okay, but first of all. I couldn't help but to get entangle with both Jin and Jimin since they're basically my brothers. And also, Suga since he belongs to our family knighthood. Therefore, I'll just make sure to never cross paths with Irene or to never upset her." Jisoo decided. "And for the rest of the guys. I'll just avoid them as best as I can."

Knock! Knock!

Jisoo immediately hid her notebook under her pillows and straightened herself to greet whoever knocked on the door. As soon as she gave her permission, Jimin's figure appeared by the opened door.

"Are you busy?" Jimin asked, looking very shy.

"Not really. Why?" Jisoo responded.

"Would you like to go out? I'll be going out to the village to find presents for Jin's coming-of-age ceremony." Jimin exclaimed.

Jisoo's eyes widen. "Jin's coming-of-age ceremony?"

Jisoo cursed silently, forgetting the fact that she's fourteen which means her big brother was seventeen. Jisoo quickly stood up from her bed and made her way to her closet.

"I'll be right there. I'll just change my clothes." Jisoo finally replied and made Jimin smile.

By the time Jisoo finished changing her clothes, she checked her appearance on the mirror. Jisoo smiled by the way she looked simpler compared to what she would normally dress. She wore a simple long skirt that passed up to her knees and matched it with a white button up long sleeves shirt with a leather corset.

"My lady, are you sure you're okay wearing this?" Hyeri asked, looking hesitant by the sudden change of clothing style of her young mistress.

"This is perfect. Besides, we'll just explore the village. It's not like we're going to the capital." Jisoo answered, thinking about not making herself standout.
