Jimin as usual wore his usual simple attire. Every time that he needed to go out from the Kimberhald household, he would try to blend in with the common people by dressing like a commoner. And just thinking about how his sister loves to dress up fancily, he already suspected to see Jisoo wearing her usual extravagant clothes but to his utter surprise, Jisoo wore the same clothing as him.

"Are you sick?" Jimin asked in shock, feeling his sister's forehead.

"I am not!" Jisoo gaped, swatting her brother's hand away from her face.

"What's with the outfit?" Jimin asked again, feeling bemused.

"Why? Do you prefer I wear a ballgown? I can go back and change my dress if you'd like." Jisoo noted and was just about to go back but Jimin was quick to hold her hand, stopping her. "Then, let's head out, shall we?" She smiled and took her brother's hand instead and dragged him towards the carriage.

Jimin was surprised by the sudden change of his sister's character. She would usually hate it if they would even share the same room and she wouldn't stop pestering him to go away and that's how Jimin kept on annoying her in revenge. But this time, Jimin couldn't help but get amazed at how Jisoo initiated the talking and even teasing him awhile ago.

"What's wrong?" Jimin asked when he noticed his sister stopped from walking and that's how he saw Suga, their assigned escort knight. "He'll be coming with us. Father insisted since you'll be coming." Jimin explained.

"My lady." Suga bowed in greeting.

Jisoo unknowingly touched her neck, remembering the past but immediately shook her head awake and smiled towards the knight. "Hello sir August. Please take care of me and my brother." She bowed back to which both her brother and the knight found skeptical.

Jimin cleared his throat and offered his hand towards his sister to which Jisoo took gratefully and headed inside the carriage. Jimin also went in and Suga closed the door right after. The ride to the village was fun as Jisoo enjoyed the scenery by the window while her brother just stared at her in wonder.

"What's the matter, brother?" Jisoo finally asked.

"Why did you cry earlier?" Jimin asked. "Is it because of me?"

Jisoo flinched, feeling embarrassed. "Oh, that? Don't worry. It's not because of you Jimin." Jisoo assured. "I was not feeling well at that time, that's all."

"What? You're not feeling well? Then we should go back and have the doctor see you!" Jimin stated, looking frantic and was about to call the attention of the coachman.

Jisoo quickly held his hand, stopping him. "I'm fine. Don't worry." She cut in. "And thank you for worrying about me." Jisoo smiled and Jimin finally loosened up.

"If you say so." Jimin replied and took his sister's hand in his, squeezing it.

"We're here, sir." Suga informed as he opened the carriage door.

Jimin stepped out first and helped his sister down. Jisoo's eyes sparkled by the lively atmosphere of the village. Jisoo's eyes scanned the area and was happy to see all sorts of shops and food stands.

"Hey, can we have those barbecue—" Jisoo's words faded as her eyes landed on her brother adjusting his sword on his waist.

Jimin might have noticed it. "You should stick to me and sir August here, Soo. We never know, this place could be dangerous." Jimin stated and Jisoo could only nod in response.

The twins and their escort knight started to roam around the village looking for the perfect presents for Jin. As Jimin was looking for a sword in a weapon shop, Jisoo couldn't help but get nervous just seeing the sharp blades, remembering the past.

"Jimin." Jisoo called out and Jimin stared at her in response. "Can I go out? This place—"

Jimin might have understood quickly and turned towards Suga. "Sir August, could you escort my sister out from here? I'll be out after looking and buying some things in here."

"Of course." Suga replied. "This way, my lady."

Jisoo smiled at her brother before following the knight out from the shop. When Jisoo finally was able to exit the shop, she could finally feel her heart beat normally.

"Finally." Jisoo heaved a sigh of relief and she noticed how Suga kept staring at her with his worried face. "I'm fine sir. It's just that—"

"Would the lady like something to drink?" Suga asked. "I'll be right back, my lady." He added and immediately went to buy some refreshment for Jisoo.

Jisoo could only smile but then it quickly disappeared as she saw a familiar face walking ahead. Jisoo was sure that it was Irene who she saw walking towards a dark alley. Jisoo was so curious and quickly followed her but made sure that Irene would not see her.

"What's she doing in a place like this?" Jisoo wondered and continued to follow the lady. "What the hell am I doing?!" Jisoo abruptly stopped from following. "I should be avoiding her, right?"

Jisoo turned her back towards the place Irene disappeared into, thinking about leaving her alone but even before she could take a step, she retracted her feet and stayed put.

"Ah, seriously." Jisoo sighed in defeat as she turned around and decided to follow Irene.
