We ended up at this junk yard place. Suddenly an airplane flew over our head.

"There goes the gold" JJ announced.

"Shit!" Pope grunted.

JJ kicked a chair.

"Fuck!" Pope yelled as he had a melt down.

"Pope!" Kie yelled.

"God damn it!" Pope picked up a baseball bat and started to smash things.

JJ, Kie and I all watched in shock. He had finally cracked.

He sat down and began to sob. I sat next to him and pulled my legs into my chest.

"Pope" Kie said in shock.

"Yeah, dude" JJ looked around.

"I was wondering when this was gonna happen. Here you go chief. A little weed never hurt no one" JJ handed Pope his pen.

"JJ" Kie warned.

"Relax, Kie" Said JJ.

"You know he doesn't smoke" she said.

Just then, Pope took the pen off of JJ.

"Well maybe not until today"

"Yeah, what is that gonna help?" Kie huffed.

"I lost my scholarship. Walked out in the middle of the interview. Every- it's gone. It's not gonna happen" Pope said.

"You did that for us?" Kie asked.

He looked up at her.

"No, not for us. For nothing"

"I'm here for you Pope" JJ wrapped his arms around him. "Welcome to my world, okay?"

 "Welcome to my world, okay?"

"JJ-"

"What, Kie? He's right. It doesn't matter anymore" JJ snapped.

Pope held the pen up to his lips. He inhaled the smoke.

"You don't have to do that" Kie said.

"Why do you care" Pope scolded at her.

Suddenly John B appeared from around the corner. His hands were covered in blood.

"Dude! Dude, you good?"

"Oh, my God! John!"

We all ran over to John B.

"Who's blood is that?" I asked him holding up his hands.

John B stood there frozen, in shock.

"Hey, you okay?" I asked him.

We heard a police siren so we all ducked down and hid behind the junk. We all exchanged questionable looks.
