Another night shift at Moonshine and Ruby is having the time of her life making drinks and making more conversations with strangers.
"Here you go! Malibu Bay Breeze!" Ruby says as she slides the drink to the friendly lady.
"Here you go!" she says as she slides a ten dollar bill to Ruby.
"Thank you, ma'am!" Ruby said.
"Oh no. Thank you! You're honestly the best bartender here!" She says as she takes her drink and walks back to her friends.
"You're quite the crowd favorite!" Jenna said.
"Well, I wouldn't say I'm the favorite," Ruby said.
"Uh hello? I saw that ten dollar tip she gave you! You've been attracting a lot of customers lately. How do you do it?" Jenna asked.
Ruby laughs. "I don't know girl! You just gotta be happy but in a very nauseating way." She said.
"Wouldn't that be annoying?" Jenna asked.
"We're at a bar, everyone is too drunk enough to care!" Ruby said.
"You got a point," Jenna said.
Jenna then spots a really attractive man sitting on the furthest bar stool.
"And I'm about to give that guy right there some good service," Jenna said.
"Oh, Jenna..." Ruby says as she shakes her head and chuckles.
"Leave him to me, honey," Jenna said.
Jenna fluffs up her hair and perks up her boobs and makes her way to the handsome stranger all sultry like. Ruby continues to do her work and then her boss Ian takes a seat in front of her. Ian had dark skin, a buzz cut, stubbly facial hair, and a piercing on his left eyebrow.
"There's my girl!" Ian said.
"Hey Ian, will it be the usual?" Ruby asked.
"You already know!" Ian said.
Ruby quickly whips up an old-fashioned cocktail and slides it to him. He takes a sip and lets out a refreshed sigh.
"Ruby never fails to make a simple drink taste the absolute best!" Ian said.
"Always flattering me Ian," Ruby said with a laugh.
"It's the truth! You're one hell of a bartender!" Ian said.
"Thanks, boss. I love this job." Ruby said.
"Yeah, and you're gonna love it more once the band finally gets here!" Ian said.
"Are they any good?" Ruby asked.
"If they weren't I wouldn't hire them," Ian said.
"Speaking of the band, I gotta ask you something," Ruby said.
"Okay, shoot," Ian said.
"So me and my fiancé were wondering if we could have our engagement party here. And I don't know how you'd feel about that but I thought it would be a good idea considering that we have a live band coming in and we could serve hors d'oeuvres and maybe serve drinks from the bar." Ruby said.
