While Clark continued his work on Darkpolis, he could only think about Ruby. He was so embarrassed about ruining their intimacy. He had left earlier that morning to avoid her. He felt terrible, but he needed some space. All those tears he had cried the night before showed him how much trauma he had built up inside of him, and it finally broke free. Clark feels a hand touch his shoulder, causing him to flinch and turn around fast to see his boss.

"Woah! You okay?" Walter asked.

"Yeah, I'm just...zoning out," Clark said.

"Well, I need you back to reality, buddy! We gotta get this done by tonight!" Walter said.

"Tonight? I thought you said next week." Clark said.

"Yeaaahhh about that, my team has just been craving new material! You're really kicking ass in this company!" Walter said proudly.

"Oh wow. I didn't know I was so well!" Clark said.

"Don't underestimate yourself. I haven't seen this much great work since we released Crimson Breakout." Walter said.

"Ohh, that game was amazing! I've beaten it like four times!" Clark said.

"Yes! And I want those gamers to have the same energy when they try to get all the possible endings this game offers! So we need those graphics by tonight. That is...if you can." Walter said.

Of course, Clark wanted to stay but suddenly remembered that he was supposed to be with Ruby planning their wedding.

"Oh, I actually can't. There's something important that I need to take care of." Clark said.

"Aw, that's too bad. My group was ecstatic to see more of your work. But, I'll tell you this, if you stay for me, maybe I can raise your salary to about 10 percent." Walter said.

"10 percent? Really?" Clark asked excitedly.

"Most definitely! And I'm sure your future wife would be thrilled about her man getting paid big time." Walter said.

Clark thought about it. Stay and get paid? Or be with his wife to plan one of the biggest days of their lives? As much as he would love to be with Ruby, he didn't know how Ruby would feel seeing him and didn't want to risk things being awkward and tense between them. So he makes his decision to stay.

"You know what? You're right. After all this work is done, I'll be sure to spend this on our wedding!" Clark said.

"That's the spirit! You're a good man Clark!" Walter said.

"Thanks, boss! I'll get to it right now." Clark said, turning to his computer.

"I knew I could count on you!" Walter said before leaving his office.

"My fiancée deserves the best," Clark said to himself.

Meanwhile, at Camila's office...
"Oh my, these flowers are beautiful!" Monica exclaimed.

"Aren't they? Some people say red roses are basic, but I call them classic. You can never go wrong with them!" Camila said.

"What do you think, sweetie?" Monica asked Ruby.
