For ten minutes straight, Clark stared at the open folder, debating whether to confront Walter or not. He couldn't believe what Damien and Theo had been through with him. No wonder they were hostile towards him. But he felt a little thankful that they were nice enough to tell him what was happening. Now the next move depended on him. Clark grabs the folder and makes his way to Walter's office, lightly knocking on the door.

"Walter?" Clark called.

"Clark! My man! What can I do for you?" Walter asked.

"Can I talk to you?" Clark asked,

"Yeah, sure! I always got time for you. Just shut the door." Walter said.

Clark closes the door behind him and sits down in front of Walter.

'So what's going on? What's in that folder? Got more ideas?" Walter asked.

"We'll get to that later. I just wanted to ask you something." Clark said.

"And what's that?" Walter asked.

"You know I really admire you so much. And I was thinking about some of the games I've played that you created. But there's this one game that pretty much inspired me to work. So I just wanted to ask you...how did you come up with Deltazone?" Clark said.

Walter stops sipping his coffee and freezes. He can barely look Clark in the eye. "Uh...Deltazone? I think you mean Alterzone." he said.

"Oh yeah! Silly me! Alterzone! So how did you come up with it? What inspired you? And how long did those designs take you? Because man! Those graphics were mind blowing." Clark said.

"Oh, you know. I don't mean to toot my own horn, but when you're a brilliant man like me, those ideas come to you. And with your imagination Clark, I can already tell you're on the right path." Walter said.

"You really have faith in me," Clark said.

"Of course! I had it since the day you set foot in my office." Walter said.

"Well...that's really refreshing to hear. Then I guess you appreciate that I've been working so hard with Darkpolis." Clark said.

"Most definitely. You've been doing such a fantastic job." Walter said.

"Oh. Is that what you tell yourself when you're writing your name on my work? Pretending like you had something to do with it?" Clark asked.

"...I beg your pardon?" Walter asked.

Clark places the folder on the desk and slides it to Walter. "I was given this by some people that work here. I want an explanation Walter," he said.

Walter opens the folder to see Clark's designs. "Explanation for what? Of how awesome these look? I'm telling you, man, you are truly gifted." he said.

"Where is my name?" Clark asked.

Walter doesn't say anything and continues to look at the designs.

"Walter? I know you hear me. Where is my name?" Clark asked again.

Walter closes the folder and stands up from his desk. "I took it off.' he said.

"Why?" Clark asked.

"Because I can't let some new guy come in and steal my shine," Walter chuckled.

"Who said anything about stealing your shine? All I wanted to do was display my creativity under a great company and for a proficient man I respected for years." Clark said.

"Yeah, but you just started here, buddy. You're not ready to be with the top dogs yet." Walter said.

"Well, you've been treating me like I was gonna be one. Why the big change up?" Clark asked.

"I mean, Clark, look at the bright side! We're still gonna have your game out there, and it'll be popular." Walter said.

Clark could feel himself getting tensed up. "But all of it was my idea! My graphics, the plot, the-"

"Who cares about who had the idea?! Does anybody care who's in charge in the gaming world?" Walter asked.

"If you're a person that's really passionate about things like this, then yes," Clark said.

"God, you're pathetic," Walter said.

"I'm pathetic? I'm not the one who acts like I have faith in my employees only to stab them in the back. You're nothing but a fucking asshole!" Clark said.

"You watch your mouth, young man!" Walter yelled.

"Shut up! You are not my damn father!" Clark yelled.

"But I am your boss, so I suggest you come correct," Walter said.

"Oh fuck you," Clark said.

"Since when did you become a big boy?" Walter laughed.

"When I found out you were a snake," Clark said.

"Oh, come on. I'm not a snake." Walter said.

"Then what do you call it then?" Clark asked.

"Look, I don't have time for this petty business. I've got work to do, and I believe you do too." Walter said, returning to his desk.

"No. I won't. I'm not working here anymore." Clark said.

Walter laughs. "That's what they all say until they come back a few days later," he said.

"Well, not me. I mean it when I said I'm not working here anymore." Clark said

"But what about the money? I can only imagine the things you were doing with it. Or more things you can do with it." Walter said.

"It's not worth it when you're having your things stolen from you. I'm done working here." Clark said, making his way to the door, but Walter had one more word for him.

Walter gets up again and leans on the front us his desk. "So you're gonna decide to walk out on the best thing that ever happened in your life. It's fine. Go ahead and leave. I'm sure your fiancée would understand that you've become a loser," Walter said with a smirk.

Clark stops in his tracks and immediately turns around to charge at Walter, tackling him on his desk. He gives him a few punches before Walter pushes him off and wipes his now bloody nose.

"That's it! Get out of my office! And leave the building because you're fired!" Walter shouted.

"You can't fire me if I already quit, you jackass. And I'll make sure you will not get away with this." Clark said.

"Oh, I can. And I have. Numerous times. And there is nothing you can do about it. So you can see your way out. It's been nice working with you." Walter said.

Clark storms out of the office and makes his way out of the building in rage.

And there you have it! Walter is a scumbag! But Clark stood up for himself! You go boy! But he's out of a job now! So how is he going to explain this to Ruby? Will he even tell her about it?
