Back at Ruby and Clark's apartment, they have been getting dressed for the engagement party. Of course, Clark was ready before her so he waits for Ruby in the living room. He's been on his laptop curiously searching for houses wondering to himself if Ruby would even want to move out. Minutes go by and Ruby finally walks into the living room in her outfit.
"Okay, I'm ready babe!" Ruby said.
Clark shifts his eyes from his laptop to Ruby and he bites his lip as he walks to her.
"Wow...you look amazing," Clark said.
"So do you! I would just change one little thing." Ruby said.
Ruby unbuttons the first two buttons of his shirt to slightly expose his chest and shows off his platinum chain that she got him for their one year anniversary. She bites her lip as she rubs her fingertips down his chest.
"Mmm...that's better," Ruby said.
"I-I mean w-we could always reschedule the party a-another time," Clark said.
"No baby we can't cancel now," Ruby said with a chuckle and kisses his nose.
Clark whines. "Just a quickie Ruby?" he asked.
"No kitten. I just got all done up and I'm not ruining my makeup." Ruby said.
"Okaayyy," Clark said.
Ruby looks over Clark's shoulder to see his laptop.
"Were you looking at porn knowing that I'd say no?" Ruby asked with a smirk.
"No Ruby," Clark said with a chuckle.
Clark takes Ruby's hand and leads her to the couch to sit down and show her what he's been looking at.
"What do you think about this house?" Clark asked.
"It's nice!" Ruby said.
"Nice enough for a future husband and wife?" Clark asked.
"I would say so! It's not too fancy just how I like it." Ruby said.
"But would you..uh...nevermind," Clark said.
"Would I what?" Ruby asked.
"Would you ever...I don't know...raise a family in that house?" Clark asked.
Ruby suddenly felt butterflies fluttering around her stomach. She couldn't tell if she was feeling anxious or happy that Clark brought up kids in their relationship.
"Oh uh...I don't know. Would you wanna raise a family?" Ruby asked.
"Maybe one day," Clark said.
Ruby rests her head on Clark's shoulder as they stare at the house on his laptop screen.
"I'm sorry I brought it up. I was just curious," Clark said.
"No that's okay. I honestly have been thinking about it too but I didn't wanna put pressure on you. But let's just focus on our wedding plans first before we talk about children." Ruby said.
