Lately, life has been... unappetizing to say the least. Who thought doing the same shit over and over again would keep me entertained for the rest of your life
Like, doing commissions is sometimes fun and getting rid of rezin is also okay, but it's all the same. Nothing new...

I sigh as I enter the Golden house for the second time this week. Not to fight Childe this time, I just wanna chat
Childe is that kind of buddy who'd beat you up and then say sorry, that's what captivates me the most

As I enter, the ginger looks my way with his bow already in his hand
But then he gives me a puzzled look

"Hey comrade! What are you doing here? You've already fought me this week, you know that right?" He asks as his bow disappears and reappears on his back
I just walk towards him "yeah I know, I just wanna be here for some time"

He still looks confused "why? Do something happen out there? Are the millelith after you again?" He asks
I shake my head, sitting on the ground facing him
"No, I'm just tired" I sigh

He chuckles "then you should probably sleep, comrade. You'll never do well on the battlefield if you're not fully energized!"
I hum "I know, this in not the 'tired tired' tho. This is the 'life tired' feeling"

His expression slightly falls as he sits down also. He stares at me thinking of what to say probably
"Why's that?" He questions. Not comforting at all but okay
I shrug, not trying to dig into my feelings too much

Then, his hand lands on my shoulder, caressing it in a comforting way
"C'mon, smile a little comrade. I don't like seeing you all down like this. Life might suck but you can make sure it's not boring you know" he doesn't really make sense
"Do what you're passionate about, chase your dreams for once, spend time with you buddies, eat the food you like. Don't think about limits, think about the things that aren't limited"

I let out a sigh "I don't know what I really want to do, but all I know is that I don't want to do whatever are all of these things I currently am doing..."
"Plus, it doesn't even help me in finding my sister, and that's the main reason why I'm here"

"I know comrade. But look on the bright side, you made plenty friends and you got to fight with the eleventh fatui harbinger multiple times! That's pretty awesome if you ask me" he sent me a smile
"Plus, you got to meet the archons. That's a very big deal here. And once you find your sister, you'll get to tell you about all the things you achieved"

I nod "but what if... What if she won't want to come back with me. What if she rejects going back to what we were"

His other hand lands on my other shoulder and he shakes me
"Don't think about that! Don't see it in a bad light, that'll just make things worse! Imagine as if there are no bad endings, just good ones. Like you beating me in battle, that's always a good feeling right?"

I nod. Knowing that someone with such passion for fighting can be beaten by me is pretty cool
If Lumine heard that, she'd be pretty impressed. Not even mentioning how I fought Divalin, Zhongli's pet, Signora and Raiden Shogun

"Whenever I fight, I think how lucky I am to even get the opportunity to fight! The thrill of the battle and the unknown always remind me why I'm alive. You just have to find what does the same for you as battles for me" he adds

His hand moved to my h/c hair and ruffled them
"How about I reserve a table for us in my favorite restaurant here in Liyue, will it make you feel better?"
A light blush made its way onto my cheeks as I nodded. It's basically a date then

He stood up, stretching his hand out to me for me to take it
"Great! It's on me then. I'll make sure it's the best day ever for you, Y/n!"
