Second P.O.V

You made a mistake.
You made a big mistake...

Not really in your opinion or in anyone else's opinion but there was one person who wasn't happy with what happened.

You cowered under one of the tables in Dawn winery and held your breath. You had a clear view of the ground floor, but you couldn't see to the top of the stairs.
You held your breath as you shivered.

Why?
Why were you being hunted down just for reaching the maximum level of friendship with Kaeya?

You reached it today before all this happened. You were just chilling, doing commissions in this foreighn land and boom, your and Kaeya's relationship reached level ten.
He seemed very pleased with it while you were kind of proud of yourself.

You even took his offer to meet up with him at the barn in Mondstadt for a drink or two - also with Rosaria tagging along as always. But as it seems, you can't show up...

Well, you see, you've been stuck in the Dawn winery for quite a bit now.

When you went to claim your daily commission reward, Kathrine just then told you about the extra commission in the said winery. And as the kind - yet a little gullible - honorary knight you are, you went there straight away.

As you approached the building you noticed the lack of crystalflies and people around. But then again, it might because the sky is full of grey clouds and the air is a little colder than usual.
"Paimon doesn't like this..." Your floating companion said. "Maybe we should leave this to Diluc or Kaeya to deal with this?"

You sent her a smile. "Don't worry Paimon. They already have enough weight on their shoulders. Plus, this is just a little favor and we'll be done sooner than you imagine!" You try to lift the mood.

She looks at you skeptically.

You let out a sigh, standing now in front of the entrance to the winery. "How about this, I'll take care of the commission and you can wait for me outside. I promise I'll be back in a second."

"And I could make you company!" You heard a very familiar voice from the roof of the building.
You both looked up to see Venti with a lyre in his hand. "I'll play one song of my choice for one apple! Or, i can play one song of your choice for one bottle or dandelion vine!"

You chuckled but your companion didn't seem to enjoy his company as much as you did. "Listen here you drunken bard!" She flew up to him, starting an argument with ugly nicknames thrown in as per the usual.

You laughed a little before waving those two off and entering the building.
The simplest thing you can do is get someone here a carrot and then leave! Yeah, whatever it is it surely won't take too long.

The heavy door closed behind you and you immediately felt that something is off here.

The air seemed heavier and colder than usual, lack of people and there was an overall eerie atmosphere. You swallowed your worries, stepping further into the building.

The objective is supposed to be in this area, so why were you met with nothing but an empty building?
Maybe the person is on the second floor?

You stepped onto the first step, making it creak as if it hasn't been stepped on for some time now. You shrugged. This is not a horror game, you should be fine.
You then made your way further up the stairs until.yoh reached the top.
