We woke up in each other's arms and I stroked his chest which was now bare. In shock I stood up and examined myself but I was still dressed. Phew.

"Woah what happened" he asked.

Jake opened his tired eyes and yawned while he stretched.

"Oh nothing, just a -"

I was going to say spiders, but then he might be scared of spiders and it will start getting chaotic.

"Nothing. Aha.. "

I laughed gently thinking of how to ask him. Straight up? Or twisted? Before I could decide my mouth poured out the words,

"Why are you semi naked Jake?"

A smile tugged at his lips, and I playfully smacked his biceps.

"Your mom came in in the middle of the night and asked if we needed a fan cuz it was so hot. I said no it's fine, cuz i didn't wanna wake you so I just took my top off."

Seeing the worried look on my face, he said hurriedly,

"Don't worry Val... Nothing happened. I know your a innocent girl. I respect you."

"Well then I respect you also for that."

I sat on his lap, fiddling with our twizzled fingers.

I checked the clock and it read,

10;37

Oh no.

Mum said to go to the groceries and pick up some fruits before she got home at quarter to 11.

I ran upstairs, leaving Jake in confusion, and threw on some leggings and a tank top which hung low, so I decided to go with my Wallis leather jacket.

I skipped carefully downstairs and into Jakes trustworthy arms. He refused to let me down until I told him where I was off to.

"The groceries down the street. Need to pick up some things. Wanna come with?"

"Sure. Hey don't you have a sis or something?"

"Omg yeah, ROSE!! You want anything for the shops!!! I'm going!!"

No reply.

"ROSEE LAST CHANCE" my voice was cracking and I ran upstairs.

I opened the door to my big sisters bedroom, but she wasn't there.

Huh, weird... I thought to myself where she could be.

We skipped the groceries since I got a tad bit worried when I couldn't find Rose anywhere. I rang mom and told her she wasn't in the house, and she wouldn't pick up the phone. Then I remembered her charger broke on Friday, and she wanted to borrow my phone on Friday since hers was dead...

"Oh god! She doesn't have a phone Jake!"

"Oh just calm down in sure she'll be able to find her way back"

"No you don't understand she's not like that! UGHH I can't calm down my sister is missing, she has so many problems, and now I've lost her!"

I slid down the wall and covered my eyes to hide the tears from Jake.

He crouched down with me and put an arm around me.

"It's gonna be ok. You hear me?"

He laid a soft kiss on my forehead, and I decided to breakdown right in front of him.
