Hello beautiful readers!

There will be mild pet play in this chapter. Although it is only a small portion, I apologize for any mistakes I make for I am not as familiar with the lifestyle as I am with other lifestyles. With that being said, if you feel uncomfortable reading I will mark where it starts (***) so you can skip. Do not read if you don't want to. Any hateful comments will not be tolerated and will be blocked.

Thank you! Happy reading!

Xavier's POV

"He's not seeing her." I refill my glass with scotch. Kai glances at the liquid in distaste. Probably ready to once again remind me my body is still healing and doesn't need the 'extra junk'.

"I know but-" My glass shattering in my hand and the growl that escapes my lips makes him tense.

"If you think for one second he can even step foot on out territory without me removing his head from his shoulders you've gone daft, brother." How can he even be considering this? She was ripped away from us. For months. We were all kidnapped and tortured in our own ways, suffering because of him.

"I don't like him either Xavier... but it wasn't entirely his fault. And that mutt's pack needs the alliance just as bad as we do." I want to yell. We can't really need him that badly. My stubborn ass wants to rip his limb from limb, but I know my brother has a point.

"Well then you two can have fun becoming best friends and having as many little meetings as you want. But he is not going anywhere near Addison. Am I clear?" Kai lets out a breath and nods. At least we can both agree on keeping her as far away from him as possible. My brother is not wrong though. Having a pack as strong as his as an ally is more than we could've asked for. Well, technically taking over like we had planned the night we met Addison, would've been the best option... I suppose that could always still be an option. Take that mutt out of the picture for good.

My blood boils just at the thought of him breathing the same air as my baby girl. We already lost her once because of him. And he clearly has feelings for her. Who knows how deep those feelings go. Or if they were ever reciprocated. The thought makes me was to kill him on the spot. Especially now that we've lost our bond with Addison. She's the warmth and light in a world that has been cold and dark for too long. Without the support of our bond, she could leave at any moment. No second thoughts. If she wanted to could I let her? Or am I too selfish to go back to the darkness I've lived in my whole life?

No, I suppose if she wanted to leave, my brother and I would have to let her go. If I truly knew someone else could make her happy, then that's all I'd want for my baby girl.

Just not with him. My wolf huffs in reply. The first I've heard from him since I woke up. Oh goddess, let her choose to be happy with anyone but him.

A thump from the monitor caught both of our attention. Frozen. My world is frozen, everything moving too slowly around me as I survey the empty screen in front of me. Where is she?

We're out the room in seconds. Two bats out of hell. Not knowing where she was put me in hell. Images of her sunken cheekbones and purple under eyes flash in my mind. Knowing how badly her body deteriorated as her father locked her away, and the fear of that happening again drives me to slam the door wide open.

"Addison?" Messy brown hair pops out from behind the recliner. Stupid camera and its stupid blind spots.

Kai sighs, brushing back his hair from his sweaty forehead, "There you are princess. What was that noise?"

Addison only quirks her head, then crawls around the recliner. I watch in confusion as she crawls up onto the seat, resting her feet onto the arm rest and peering over the back rest. Before we can tell her no, she pushes off, jumping down off the back of the chair. Another loud thump rings through my ears. I rush to the back of the stupid chair to see Addison laying on a pile of stuffies.

This girl... she's going to give me grey hairs, "Addison."

She looks up at me wide eyed then wiggles her way deeper into her stuffie mountain.

"That was not safe little girl, what were you thinking?" Kai sighs and picks her up when she only whimpers in response to his scolding. If we hadn't have gone through everything that's happened in the past few weeks, her ass would be red for a stunt like that. But I hold that side of me back as Kai reminds her how she could've hurt herself and walks her to the living room.

The tears that well up in her eyes as Kai places her in the corner of the loveseat, for a time out, nearly makes both of us take back the punishment. Instead, I take a seat across from her, and Kai goes to grab my paperwork I need to finish. Damn, we've gotten soft.

(***)

My timer for Addison goes off and I try my hardest not to go and scoop her up from the couch. I just have a couple more papers to sign. She sniffles, making me sneak a glance towards her. She nimbly crawls off the couch, head first, peaking my interest. She crawls over to my feet and rests her head on my lap. I brush my hand through her brown locks, petting the top of her head lightly.

This earns a small whimper from her, but then she rubs her face up and down my leg. Then a small lick on my hand. Holy shit.

I think our baby is in pet space?

I don't think Kai has ever moved so fast in his life. The next thing I know he's at the entryway of the living room, watching as Addison crawls up the couch and cuddles into my lap.

She curls into a ball, resting her head on my lap. She whimpers softly till my hand runs through her messy hair, and I swear I hear a purr.

"You're such a good girl for us, aren't you princess?" She perks up at the sound of my brother's voice.

He taps his thigh, "Come here princess."

Instantly she's up and prancing towards Kai on all fours. Damn, such a good girl. As if jinxing myself, the moment that thought passes my mind she stops in her tracks. A toy, left out from playing this morning catches her attention, and she rushes towards it. She growls and takes the teddy bear in between her teeth.

Kai chuckles then pats his thigh again, but this time the command falls to deaf ears. Despite the fact that she glances quickly towards him before continuing wrestling with her toy, Kai smirks. Oh boy, he's going to have fun training her.

I can practically see all the things Kai is imaging for her. The pretty baby blue collar and matching leash he bought in case she ever did go into pet space would look lovely around her pretty little neck. The bone shaped gag hidden in case she needs it. And my favorite, the assortment of tail butt plugs to fill that tight ass.

The first time she let Torryn play with her I so badly wanted to let him dress her up, but we weren't sure how far in her headspace she'd go as a pet.

"Addie..." His singsong voice is full of temptation, but I know he's eager to see just how far into headspace she is. She looks up at Kai with big doe eyes, "Do you want to play?"

Her ass wiggles and I wish for Kai to fill it up with a tail. "Bring it here." He claps and she obeys. That is until he has the leg of her stuffed bear in his hand, then she pulls back with the arm in her mouth. She tries tugging on it, growling, and although he doesn't pull back to take the toy away his unwavering grip makes it clear to her he won't let go.

He stares at her, daring her to continue her little challenge, but it clear she knows who's boss. Once she lets go they play fetch till dinner time. And although, I'm not much into the pet lifestyle as my brother is, I revel in the scene in front of me, with our girl showing more energy and looking more free than she has in days.
