Chapter 8

"Something smells yummy!" I dash down the stairs to meet my mates for breakfast.

"I sure hope you're not running, little girl." Xavier's voice makes me halt midway down the stairs and I speed walk the rest of the way down. Xavier is flipping chocolate pancakes as Kai cuts up strawberries, blueberries, and bananas.

"Ooh yummy! Can I help?"

"Sure flower, you can help Kai set the table." Ignoring how cold the wood flooring feels on my bare feet, I struggle to reach the plates on the top shelf. Not only am I too short to reach the top of the cupboard, but I can't reach far enough without flashing anyone wearing only Xavier's t-shirt which was my pajamas last night. Warm hands grasp onto my hips to stop my struggling, and Kai's chuckle rumbles in his chest vibrating against my back.

He hands me three plates and leans in letting me feel his bulge against me, "Here you go love."

His cool breath sends shivers down my spine, "Th-thank you daddy."

"You two stop standing around, we have a busy schedule ahead of us today."

Busy schedule? Before I can ask what Xavier means, he plops a stack of pancakes onto the table and Kai begins serving my food. I didn't even notice how Kai finished setting up the table. How did he do that so quickly?

"Hurry and eat princess, then you and I will get ready for the day." Xavier points to my food, then begins to serve his own plate. Still confused on what's happening today, I slowly sit on Kai's lap and he starts to cut my pancakes for me to eat.

"Jonathan will be coming around one o'clock to discuss the new situation. I have a meeting with Toby and Kelsie at 10, then I need to finish up some paperwork. Hopefully it won't take too long, but I assume you can handle it if I'm not back before Jonathan gets here." I try not to look like I'm eavesdropping on the conversation, but they can't blame me for being curious. After hearing foreign names, I realize I've never officially met anyone from the pack yet. I wonder if their pack even knows about me. What if they hate me?

"Of course, brother, I'll survive without you," Kai chuckles then interrupts my train of thought, "Here baby let me feed you."

I didn't even realize I stopped eating I was so stuck in my head. I only nod and let Kai take my plate and my fork. He turns me around and feeds me effortlessly.

"Okay princess let's go get ready for the day." I follow Xavier back upstairs as Kai cleans up the dining room.

I sit on our bed as Xavier walks to the bathroom and starts filling the bathtub with water. Then he walks out and walks into the walk-in closet picking out clothes for the both of us.

Once he's finished grabbing a black t-shirt for him and some jeans, and a white t-shirt and what look like sweats for I'm assuming me, he places them on the bed and picks me up.

I giggle, "I can walk Daddy."

"Well princess then that would be no fun for me." He smirks and carries me to the bathroom and shuts off the water in the tub. Light pink bubbles almost meet the top of the large tub and I'm so mesmerized by them I don't even register Xavier setting me down.

He slowly grips the large shirt on me and raises it up my body. My heartbeat picks up, nervous of what is happening. What if he doesn't like the way I look? The thought quickly disappears as my PJ shirt falls to the ground and Xavier's eyes are lost in mine.

He then gives me a quick but loving kiss and gently places me into the tub. The water engulfs my body and the bubbles cover me like a blanket. Soon after I watch Xavier slip off his shirt and grab three bottles from the ledge of the tub. He pours some shampoo into his hands and his fingers gently run through my hair massaging my scalp. My eyes involuntarily close at the amazing feeling as sparks flow through his touch. He rinses my hair then adds conditioner to the tips letting it sit as he rinses his hands and grabs the body wash. I can only watch him in silence as he guides his hands to my arms washing both, then my shoulders and my back. He moves to the front, washing everything thoroughly but gently. His eyes lock with mine, and I get a funny feeling flowing through my stomach. I've never been touched so much by anyone, even if it's as innocent as a bath I can't help but feel it be so intimate. His hand brushed past my breast, but not before he sends it a quick squeeze. I gasp out a moan and Xavier only smirks, releasing a low growl, and continues to rise me off as if it never happened.

Once I'm rinsed and dried Xavier hands me my clothes as he jumps in the shower. It doesn't take me long to realize these clothes aren't even mine. The smell of Xavier lingers on the shirt and the giant sweatpants smell like Kai. I have to roll his sweatpants so many times I lose count. The shirt itself is practically a dress on me. I thought Xavier said we had a busy day today? Why would Xavier dress me in such baggy clothes if we were going to do things? Maybe it was just him having a busy day kind of thing. I don't mind, I love wearing their clothes around the house, although I'd rather go without the pants.

I throw my damp hair into a messy bun and skip down the steps to find Kai. Where could he be? I think hard because when I normally lose something Daddies tell me to try to remember where I had it last... ooh the kitchen! I skip to the kitchen but it's spotless. No food on the counters, and no Daddy in here either. Maybe the tv room? The TV is quiet and no one occupies the chairs. Hmm... I wonder what's on tv.

I flip on the tv and immediately Adventure Time pops on. I laugh at the silly puppy then remember my mission. I still have to find Daddy Kai. Secret spy theme songs play in my head as I sneak around the house following the scent of the one I'm looking for. The scent grows stronger and stringer as I come closer to their office. The office, I should've looked there first.

I peek my head through the door and see my target sitting at his desk typing away on his computer. Now that he's distracted the best idea comes into my mind. A sneak attack! I get ready to crawl into the office, but my pant leg came undone and I accidentally step on it with my other leg making me huff.

"Hello sneaky princess." I whip my head to his direction and he's still typing away but with a huge grin of his face.

"How did you know I was here Daddy?" No fair... I never get to sneak attack them.

He only chuckles and gestures for me to sit on his lap, "What are you wearing baby girl?"

"I don't know, Daddy Xavie chose them for me." Kai scoffs and rolls up my pant legs again for me.

"There you go princess all done." I give him a quick kiss on the cheek, thanking him.

Before I can get off his lap he stops me, "You call that a kiss?"

I blush knowing I wouldn't have gotten away with it. I turn back to face his, wrapping each leg on each side of his body. To be dramatic I grab his face, squishing his cheeks, and give him a quick peck on the lips. Before I can jump away he pulls me back, grabbing the back of my neck deepening the kiss.

A knock comes to the door and Xavier walks in ready for the day, "Well you two be good," Xavier winks and Kai only chuckles, "Don't forget Jonathan will be over at one. If I'm not back by noon make sure she knows the rules for playdates, yeah?"

Wait, play date? So, this Jonathan guy is coming over here to meet me? I'm not sure how I feel about that.

He walks over and kisses me on the forehead, "Be good little girl."

"Otay Daddy." Xavier leaves us and Kai finishesup his paperwork.
