Luz opened her eyes, and she saw nothing.

The feeling, it was quite bugging.

Her eyes were open, it usually meant sight.

But not this time, as there was no light.

She felt sick, and all she heard, was a small simple click.

Voices all around, an unnerving sound...

But then, she felt a gentle hand.

Placed upon her shoulder, as if saying "I understand."

She heard a quiet voice, and so Luz so did rejoice.

But the happiness didn't last, and just like at home, she became an outcast.

The world around her closed in, as Belos said a final prayer:

And then Luz was pulled from the darkness alas, able to see once again.

Her sobs filled the room, but Eda didn't care. She took her kid into her arms, and held her while she gasped for air.

And she rubbed circles in her back whispering sweet nothings, albeit the closing in black.

And Luz's sobs slowed down, but still Eda held her tight, reminding her that in every dark, there always will be light.
